When I started college, I have been thinking a lot about my future career. The road I'll take too, is something I discuss and look for a lot as well. For now and more I need to make clear choices and good decisions! I really want to take a break from school to travel the world but also I don't want to lose time for my future career if opportunities come on my way. What am I going to do?

Choice 1 : Going to the University of Laval!

By choosing to go to the University of Laval, I make my way closer and closer to the future career of a business woman. By studying further in the administration program I'll be able to understand more and deeper the field I want to go in.

Go 1 year in Hawaii!

Going to Hawaii has always been one of my biggest dreams. By being here, I'll be able to learn how to surf, to find a local dead-end job and to make great human relationships. Also, volunteering abroad has always been something I wanted to do in my life. As I am super young, I truly think about every single day and it is in fact, a great purpose to have in life: helping others! I need to truly understand the value of life.

Choosing an internship related to business management.

Like I discovered lately, I would really like to do an internship related to business management. As I learn, internship is, a great opportunity in a lifetime. I feel like doing an internship would really get me through the business work in clear and formal way. I would like to say that internship can be something really great and helpful in life. In fact, I have never been in one! The only thing I did in my life was an on-the-job training at an old restaurant I worked for, so I could learn the ropes in an easier way that I thought. To come back on the subject, internships are also a great way, even better than an OJT, to have a foot in the door for your next job or so. Internship can be described like a test drive which comes in handy for your career!

Getting a part-time job as a student not related to business management.

I feel like working in a restaurant might be a great idea, because as a student I need to pay for my school and working as a waitress sounds super intelligent, only speaking monetary. I personally think that working in a restaurant help you work fast and, in team. As I mentioned, restaurant are fast and you need to be focused and give your 100% like I do in every single thing I do.

Start surf courses!

Surfing as always been one of my biggest dreams! Learning how to surf in real Hawaii waves makes me feel super excited about life. Surfing for me is as useful and educating as an internship or even a school course. Surf is for me a life lesson.

Start volunteering in Hawaii!

Like I mentioned volunteering abroad is a great life lesson that I really like to do. So, my plan is by going to Hawaii, I'll stop by I don't know what kind of volunteering I especially want to do but one for sure. Going in an orphanage is also one thing I've always wanted to do while travelling abroad!

Moving to a condo.

It's now the time to take my responsibility. Either I just came back from a wonderful trip or I'm deeply. Now that I'm in a condo, it's officially time to take charge and start applying for interviews in companies that match my business thinking!

Ranting an apartment.

It's now the time to take my responsibility. Either I just came back from a wonderful trip or I'm deeply. Also, given that I am in the business world, renting an apartment is clearly not the best choice I could have made in my life. Renting an apartment is clearly not the best choice financially because it is like giving your money in a vacuum! To be able to continue paying my rent, it is also time to apply for interviews in companies that appeal to me in order to be able to evolve in the world of management.

Here comes the time when I travelled what I had to discover and I want to go back home and rebuilt my career. Since I've been gone for a year, I know need to find a place to live by myself and start taking the right path for my future career. Is it going to be by owning my own condo or by ranting an apartment?

Stay in Hawaii for longer time.

Staying in Hawaii automatically means I didn't finish what I had to. What I mean by saying this is, I'll stay where my heart tells me to stay... If it's Hawaii, well it's there. Maybe being in Hawaii made me realise that business management is not for me and I'm more outgoing and open-minded when it comes to being working in a different country!

Choice 1 : Work in a restaurant in Hawaii.

Working for my dad's company.

For many years, my father always wanted me to come and work for him and resume his position as president of the company. Now that I have accepted the position, I can realise the true meaning of management even better (even more so if I have chosen to do an internship). Do I stay with them forever or do I continue my journey alone in another direction?

Now that I have decided to stay in Hawaii, working in a restaurant will help me get money during the time I'll choose what to do in my life!

Good job! Not quitting and working for what I want in life is a great decision to be honest! After applying for many jobs interviews, I now work for a journal enterprise and got a new post: Marketing Manager.

Here is the part where it all ends! After all these years of ups and downs, it's finally time to say goodbye to all those sacrifices of the past. I am sure that my life has been super good and that I was able to make the most of it!

As another dream, I've always wanted to finish my life in the south where I could drink mojito every day and be tan with my husband. In fact, that is the main reason why moving to Miami during the winter like every Canadians for Quebec sounds great!
