My first session of College.

I have just graduated from high school, and I am happy because I got straight A’s. I passed a long but good years at Reine-Marie College. The college is coming soon and I don't know what I want to do in the future. I have few ideas, but I really don't know in what program should I go in College. I have to choose between Social Science and Health Science. I am accepted in four different colleges and now I have to choose.

Choice 1 : Social Science.

Choice 2 : Health Science.

Social Science.

I choose this program. I am very interested in the courses in this program. I really like psychology. In this field, I know that I would have a lot of ease. There are professions related to this program that may interest me. Now, I have to choose between two Colleges.

Choice 1 : Montmorency College.

Choice 2 : Rosemont College.

Montmorency College.

I choose to go to Montmorency College. Most of my friends go there. They influenced me in my choice. I'm really happy because I will have a lot of people I know, so I won't get bored at school. However, this cegep is very far from my home. I get influenced a lot by my friends. I'd rather stay with them than go to my classes. I'm even considering canceling my session because I'm failing my classes. I have no motivation, and I am not able to have time management.

Choice 1 : Start over.

Rosemont College.

I choose to go to this cegep. It is near to my home. My ex best friend goes there too. We don't talk to each other anymore but it doesn’t matter, I go there for my studies only. My ex best friend found out that I am in the same college as her through a mutual friend. We talked to each other and ended up being reconciled. My session went well. I will continue in this field and go in teaching at university. I really like my courses, and I am very proud of myself because I got good grades. I am very excited to do my internship in my fourth session of college.

Choice 1 : Start over.

Health Science.

I choose to go in health sciences, I know I will have a lot of opportunities in this field of study. Courses are complicated but I know I can do it. I am able to persevere and give my best in this program. I'm not very interested in this program. If I choose to follow it, it is to open up more opportunities for myself in university. Now I need to decide in which cegep I will go.

Choice 1 : Maisonneuve College.

Choice 2 : André-Grasset College.

Maisonneuve College.

I choose to go to this college because it is well-known, especially in this program. It's not far from where I live. I know a teacher at this college who was kicked out of my high school because he sexually harassed many female students. I don't want to ran into him because he already behaved strangely with me and my friends. He was looking under our skirts. The inevitable happened. I ended up meeting the teacher. He smiled at me but I ignored him. Over time, I realized that I was not feeling well at this college. I didn't like the atmosphere anymore. I didn't want to go to school. I ended up falling into a depression and a school phobia.

Choice 1 : Start over.

André-Grasset College.

I am accepted, I am very happy! I choose this college which is private. My parents can't pay all my schooling, so I have to work to help them. Also, this College is well-reputed for sports and I go swimming so it is interesting for me. I have an interview for a job. I hope I will be accepted and I will have an OJT the following days. I have to put aside the money for my studies. I got a call from human resources and I passed the Interview few days later. I couldn’t manage between school and working because I was frequently asked for doing overtime.I spent my money instead of saving it for my studies. My parents told me that they weren't going to pay for me anymore and that I have to pay for everything by my own. Then, I decided to give up and stop everything because I felt unable to finance my studies.

Choice 1 : Done.
