The middle of the year of my last high school year.

In the middle of the year I have an important decision take, what is the program I want to choose for my future.

Choice 1 : Firefighter application.

Choice 2 : Social Science application.

Choice 3 : Quitting schools to work.

Firefighter application.

I will apply to be a Firefighter that's my dream jobs. But It's very hard to be accepted in that program because a lot of people apply each year and a few applications were select. Sometimes, it took like 3 to 4 years to be accepted in that program. A lot of people don't have time to wait for this time for a program.

Choice 1 : I'm accepted in Fire safety.

Choice 2 : I'm not accepted in Fire safety.

Social Science application.

I can apply to be in Social Science in college, That is the safest way for my future because it was easier to be accepted in that program. Social Science opens a lot of opportunities for different jobs. That's the program my parents push my to selected because I have more chance to be accepted.

Choice 1 : I apply in Social Science.

Choice 2 : I didn't apply in Social Science.

Quitting schools to work.

This option made a lot of drama in my family because my parent said, " If you quit schools to work you will never go back to school because you will taste what is it to have a little bit of money." But, I don't think that is what it will happen. I think for my part that I will work and save some money to go to an apartment or not to work when I am been accepted in Fire safety.

Choice 1 : I want to go back to school after one year of work.

Choice 2 : I don't want to go back to school.

I'm accepted in Fire safety.

I will do one year DEP at l'IPIQ, l'IPIQ is the school you learn how to do the Firefighter job. After that, I will do two years in the technique of fire safety at Montmorency College. After all this study I can be officially a Firefighter for all the city I want.

Choice 2 : I didn't find a firefighter job.

I'm not accepted in Fire safety.

That is a very bad new because my dream job didn't accept my apply to this program, I'm a little bit lost and I don't know what to do. I start to think I'm not good enough to be a Firefighter. Maybe, that dream is only a dream and I will never achieve it.

Choice 1 : Apply next year in Fire Safety.

Choice 2 : I don't apply in Fire Safety next year.

I apply in Social Science.

I decide to apply in Social Science my parents are happy with that decision because they know that is a great path for my future because I can go in so many University programs with that diploma.

Choice 1 : I do it well at school.

Choice 2 : I do what I like every day.

I didn't apply in Social Science.

When I said to my parents I decided that I will not apply in Social Science, they are extremely mad. They scream loudly at me that I'm only an idiot and I will have a bad future. They decided if I'm not studying I can't stay to the house I need to go in an apartment.

I want to go back to school after one year of work.

After one year of full-time job I want to go back to school because I realise that I don't want to work all my life and have the minimum wage because I realise that It is tough to have a good life with that wage. I want to do something else because I'm not happy in that situation.

I don't want to go back to school my parent be right I taste what is it to have a little bit of money and the only thing now I want to do is to make more money for that reason I don't go back to school. My parents are mad with that decision but it my life not theirs life and I'm happy with my life now.

I'm happy I find my first job of Firefighter, I have a lot of luck because to my first apply I have a job. I will be a Firefighter for the city of Montreal that is the best day of my life because I will do my dream job in the city I want. The thing I can say is my parent aren't right when they said to not apply in that program.

That is the worst thing that can happen I studied for 3 years of my life to not find a job I send 14 apply to different city and I didn't have only one answer. Maybe my parents be right and I didn't make the right choice, maybe I have a better future if I go to Social Science. I don't know what I'm supposed to do now.

Choice 2 : I continue to apply to different cities.

I do it well at school.

I do all my course and I do my homework each week because in this way it easier for me to have good grades because if I do a little bit of homework each week, when it's time of the exam period I have less homework to do than a person who waits to the last minute to begin his studies.

I do what I like every day.

I didn't do homework each week It a lost of time I did all my homework to the last minute I always do that and it works. I only do my base course like ESL French Philosophy and Physical education because I only need that course to be a firefighter. My parent understands nothing they want I do all my course they said I will not have my Social Science diploma if I didn't do all my course, yet to be honest, I don't want it. I only go to school because They quit me out of the house if I don't go school.

I will apply next year in Fire Safety because that's my dream and that's the only jobs I really want to do. I'm mad because the fact I'm not accepted in Fire safety I will lose some time of my life.

I understand I didn't have the quality to be a good Firefighter that make me sad, Now I don't know what I will do I'm lost, I will probably check for another program next year but this year what I will do.

One year that the time I have to prepare myself for the Firefighter test, I need to prepare myself physically and prepare my mental. For the physique part I will be taken a personal trainer to help me to increase my straight to be better on the test. I will talk with some Firefighter to find out in witch mental state I need to be when I do my test.

Last minute preparation.

I have time to prepare myself one year that the time I have to be in better physical condition and for the psychometric test that is a luck question you can't prepare yourself for that. Now It is Summer lets just have fun and party after that, I will prepare myself.

I go back to school because I have no Firefighter job and I don't want to waste time because if I don't have the quality I need to be a Firefighter I will never have a job and I will have a formation for nothing, Therefore I need to find another option.

I will continue to apply to different cities that the way one day I could have a Firefighter job, because some firefighters retire each year, Therefore some job will be free to some new candidate.
