My Career as a Special Effects Technician.

I have an important choice to make.

It is the end of high school and I have to decide which program that I have to choose for my future as a Special Effects Technician. The two choices that I have to make are either go in a three-year Career/Technical program to learn special effects in movies to Old Montreal College or go in a two-year Pre-university program to develop my creativity to Montmorency College and then go to university to learn how to make special effects in movies.

Choice 1 : Go to Old Montreal College.

Choice 2 : Go to Montmorency College.

thinker

Go to Old Montreal College.

I went to Old Montreal College, after three years I graduate, and I was then able to start working very quickly, but in small companies. I noticed that the technical program did not open enough doors for me as I would have liked.

Choice 1 : Restart

old montreal

Go to Montmorency College.

I chose to go to Montmorency College in order to develop my creativity as much as possible. I had no idea that having so many classes could be so difficult to manage. I found my first semester difficult, I missed a lot of time for my assignments and studies, I almost failed classes and I would have preferred to have better marks than those obtained. So, I have a choice to make for my next semester.

Choice 1 : Do summer courses to facilitate the other sessions.

Choice 2 : Do not look for alternatives.

montmorecy

Do summer courses to facilitate the other sessions.

I made the choice to postpone in a summer course one of the classes that I have the most difficulty with. It took a lot of pressure off my shoulders during my regular session and allowed me to devote all my time to this class. This technique allowed me to finish College with good grades, and I am accepted at the university of my choice. College is finished and summer is finally here! Do I take it easy by chilling with my friends to reward myself for all my effort or do I take the summer to start exploring all software l will have to learn and use at the University?

Choice 1 : Chilling with my friends.

Choice 2 : Start learning.

homework

Do not look for alternatives.

The level of the courses is much more complex than the last session, I cannot submit my work on time and I do not have good grades. What should I do?

Choice 1 : I should drop out of school.

Choice 2 : Continue to work hoping to succeed.

still ok

I should drop out of school.

Since I left college, I can't to do the job I wanted and now I work in a fish factory for a living.

Continue to work hoping to succeed.

The consequences of my choices pushed me to have lowed grades and to spend parts of the night up to study. I ended up having a burnout.

Choice 1 : Restart

burn out

Chilling with my friends.

I chose the well-deserved rest! My friends and I took the opportunity to have fun and party during the summer months. It was a memorable summer. At the end of the summer I entered University, and three years later I graduated. I now have a good job in a movies company. I'm the one who takes care of the character rigging in the movies. It's not exactly the job I was hoping for, but I'm still satisfied.

Choice 1 : Restart

normal job

Start learning.

I took advantage of my summer to explore, educate myself and try out the software that would be taught to me in University. I can't wait to learn more. At the end of the summer, I entered University, and three years later I graduated with honors! I now have a great job in a movie's company. THE ONE I have always dreamed of working in. I'm now an artistic director of special effects. My dream is fulfilled. -The End.
