You have now finished most of the basic courses that " College Montmorency '' offers and your parent's have given you an ultimatum. Leave the house or choose a definite career. At this point, the choice you make will affect the outcome of your life. You can either choose between dropping out and leaving your parent's house or pursue a career in culinary arts.

Choice 1 : You decide to drop out and leave your house.

Choice 2 : You decide to earn a degree in culinary arts

Independence.

It is your first year leaving alone, your parent's cut any ties left with you and without their financial support you barely manage to survive and eat proper meals. You realize that working part-time isn't going to get you anywhere. You dread going to work and know that you can't continue working at that dead-end-job for the rest of your life. It is time to make a change and try to analyse thoroughly the options you have. After thinking for a while, you remember how much you loved cooking as a kid, you think that choosing this path could be worthwhile. On the other side one of your friends called you for a small job, he wants you to start dealing drugs alongside him for some quick cash.

Culinary Institute.

After, joining St-Petersburg Culinary Institute you finally feel like you have found your true vocation. Not only this feeling of alienation has slowly started to disappear but you also feel relieved and fulfilled. Despite everything going fine emotionally you start to realize how hard it is to follow the rhythm in the kitchen. Your skills have gotten less sharp after having stopped cooking for almost ten years. Chef Jean-Pierre quickly catches up on your problem and sits down with you to give you some thoughtful advice. After, regaining your composure you see your two options appear clearly in front of your eyes. You can either choose to become a trainee or apprentices in one Chef's Jean-Pierre restaurants or you could also leave school if you feel like the path is going to be rough and too difficult.

The ramen shop.

It has now been five years since you dropped out of college and left your parent's house. After that harsh first year when you had to learn the ropes of leaving alone and almost going through a dark path, you now feel like a new person. In these past five years you started working in different restaurants, you worked so much that you became one of the year's best discoveries in terms of new talent in the cooking world. All that overtime and hard work paid off, you quickly climbed the ladders of gastronomy and have now found a steady job in Fujimoto's Ramen shop. Your mentor Fujimoto is proud of you and wants to invite you to an international cooking competition where different chefs will represent their restaurant. You have to decide if you want to participate and possibly skyrocket your fame and prestige or decline and continue learning alongside chef Fujimoto to polish your cooking techniques.

The darkest timeline.

You have been living a lavish life for the past 4 years, drinking, partying and taking all kinds of drugs with Pedro. The day Pedro introduced you to the world of drug dealing you never believed how fun your life could become. Now with 23 years of age you are living your best years, easy money and the constant rush that the many police chases give you. But for a while you have been getting severe headaches, headaches that seem to get stronger after each day passes by. The pain is becoming overwhelming and the stress has never been this maddening. You need to do something quickly, the effects of modern pharmaceuticals are becoming almost nonexistent and your life might be in danger. You can go to the doctor or you could try the new drug your friend Pedro has brought, he says this drug does miracles.

The end.

You decide to take the experimental drug the same day your friend offered it to you. You mix it with other drugs that are supposed to relieve the pain and you take it whole. Your head starts to turn and you suddenly feel dizzy. Your life scrolls before your eyes. Sweet childhood memories appear, the laugh of your mother and father resonate through your soul. Your eyes feel heavier and heavier and you rethink about all your past decisions. Maybe a dead-end-job would have been better than a dead-end-life. You close your eyes and you fall asleep. Your body lies in a dark and cold room. We can hear the sound of a siren echoing through the walls. We can hear a heartbeat stopping and people screaming. That night, a life came to an end.

Choice 1 : Relive your life and choose differently.

A trip to the doctor.

You go to the doctor to get treated for your headache. After some tests and an X-ray the doctor finally tells you to sit down. He tells you that you have a stage 4 cancer. He tells you that you have 3 months to live and that the only thing he can do is give you some pills to help with the pain. You leave his office with a sudden urge to make somebody pay for what your life has become. You go back to Pedro's crib and take a knife from his kitchen. You sit by his side and slit his throat. You grab the phone and call the police. After ten minutes the cops open the door and take you to jail. The trial doesn't take much time, you confess to everything, and they sentence you to perpetuity. In the front rows you see your parent's crying. In jail, you get tested by the doctors and you explain that it doesn't matter because you only have 1 month left to live. The doctors look at you with a perplexed look on their faces, the tests for cancer are negative. They tell you that you are as healthy as a newborn. In your cold cell you remember how your life would have been and you fall asleep.

The chef's advice.

You took a chance and followed chef's Jean-Pierre advice. It has now been 5 years since you started working at his restaurant, since you came it got up in ranking and you became a revelation, for many critics you are the next big chef. Of course the workload wasn't easy, your lack of experience made it pretty difficult but the getting sucked up in the kitchen helped you achieve greater heights. You surpassed many other chefs and became a staple in the world of gastronomy. Today, chef Jean-Pierre isn't as young as he used to be and his cooking skills are becoming less useful in the kitchen. He is going to give his retirement speech soon and he wants you to take the vacant position, he wants you to become the headchef of the restaurant. You are a bit unsure, you think to yoursefl that maybe you can't live up to his name and that maybe it would be better if you opened your own franchise in order to start from the bottom.

Dropping out again.

After dropping out and after five years of inconclusive exploration, you decide to go back to your parents house. You can feel how disappointed your parents are, after all you were all bark but no bite. Your mindset of being able to pull off anything you wanted was nothing but a facade. Your mom agrees to you staying at home, under the condition that you help at the family restaurant. By making those decisions and leaving school so many times you withhold yourself from discovering an exploring new horizons. Your future has no hope now, if only you had made better decisions.

Life after the competition.

It has now been 10 years since you accepted the competition. Your prestige as one of the best chefs worldwide skyrocketed. To this day you have opened 40 other Fujimoto's ramen shop in honor of your master and you are known to master most of the world's cooking techniques. Your overwhelming knowledge of international gastronomy has made you a respectable and amazing cook. After many years you are finally able to get in contact with your parents while being fulfilled and happy with your accomplishments. Your life is great and you have a loving family. Looking back you can't imagine what would have happened if your decisions were different. Congratulations.
