Life is like a Roller Coaster!

End of College.

Since college is coming to an end this year, Penelope has many choices to make. First of all, she has to find the work that she would enjoy doing every day for the rest of her life. This girl has an interest in the health field since she was a little girl. Taking care of the surrounding people has always been a passion for her. Yet, she would also love working with young kids and education could be a great choice for her too. What university program should she apply for?

College

Become a Doctor.

She did it. She was admitted in her dream program. She never thought she would be accepted, and she was overexcited. When her classes started she was very motivated and loved all the courses she was attending. After a couple of weeks, the quantity of work increased rapidly. She was doing the best she could to be up to date and worked as hard as she could. Unfortunately, she failed one of her exam for the first time. She was disappointed at herself and discouraged. She was feeling many feelings at the same time and didn't know what to do anymore. Should she change of study program and apply to become a nurse or should she work even harder?

Science Teacher.

As a kid, Penelope was really interested in science and appreciated when her father presented her new science experiences. Her father obviously conveyed her his passion for science. Becoming a science teacher will allow her to transmit this passion to many children. Her university studies were going perfectly without any problems until one day, in a laboratory class when all of a sudden "OUCH"! (onomatopoeia) She burnt her hand with a chemical product. She left the school in an ambulance and spent one entire week at the hospital and the pain is still unbearable. The burns prevented her from writing and the timing was bad since she had 3 final exams scheduled the following week. Should she take the tests anyway or wait for a month?

Start Nursing Courses.

It was a new begging for Penelope. She was in peace with her decision of abandoning the medicine program and was more than ready for her upcoming classes. She started this course with determination and a lot of preparation. She became a very diligent student and was more organized than ever. She was attending every class on her schedule and was noting down every words pronounced by her teachers. In short, her goal was to excel in her courses and, she reached it, she mastered the course. Everything seemed to take place perfectly. What will she do next?

Penelope put the disappointment aside and was ready to put even more efforts in her classes. She stopped all of her hobbies and her part-time job to use all the time she had for school's works. It was a hard decision to make, but she had to chance things to reach her ultimate goal. All the time and the investment that she has allotted to her studies finally paid off. She succeeded to pass all of her class with impressive grades. Her stress had decreased for some days until she learned her sick grandpa had passed away because of his lung cancer. She instantly felt a horrible pain in her stomach and her tears came running down her cheeks. She then felt a huge anger towards all illness and diseases. She wanted to do everything she could in the future to find a cure for lung cancer. What should she do after her studies?

Penelope chose to do her exams on the dates they were scheduled because she had studied a lot for them. She was well-prepared, and she did not want to wait for a couple of weeks and have the chance to lose all of her knowledge. She still could not write, so the teachers let her do it on a computer ans she typed with her left hand. It was an exhausting week for her, but she was proud of everything she accomplished that week. Her course of elementary school science teacher was coming to an end. It was time for her to make another big choice such as choosing in which school she wants to teach.

Party Every Day.

Due to her injury, Penelope decided not to take her exams right now. She preferred taking care of her healing body and taking a small break for school. She did not want to study her break weeks and chose to have fun instead. The "break" was not only giving her hand time to heal, but more importantly giving her time to party. In fact, she was even more tired than before since she was out every night and always went to bed late. Finally when it was time for her to take her exams she was not at the best of her capacities. She still managed to get her diploma.
