My career.

I’m an intern accountant and I work at the most important companies in Quebec. My studies were made at Sherbrooke University. I always knew that I love to play with numbers because in all my math' grades I got straight A's and in my others classes it was really maddening, so my grades went down. Despite this deep side of my school, I pulled off all of my grades and got my diploma last year. This week I received the information that a new employee will work next to me. My boss offered me another office if I don’t want to be disturbed by the new employer.

Choice 1 : Change place.

Choice 2 : Stay at the same office.

Change place.

I finally decided to change place because I like to undermine my space and I know that I won’t be focus enough with someone new beside of me. My new office is in a corner where a lot of employees pass and this hinder me to be invaluable in my job. I don’t want to bother my boss but I have to tell him that I don’t feel good in this place. I hope he will be understanding.

Choice 1 : He understand.

Choice 2 : He doesn’t understand.

Stay at the same office.

It’s been 3 days that the new employee works next to me and, he doesn’t disturb me. But this morning I saw him get up multiple time and, it was very suspicious how he was looking at other people, especially me. Sometimes, during lunch he was flirting with me and other woman employees. I didn’t know if telling to the boss was a good idea or all the situation was in my head.

Choice 1 : Talk to the boss.

Choice 2 : Talk to the new employee.

He understand.

I explained what was the problem of this office, and he understood immediately. He was sorry about this drawback and, will relocate me in another section where it has fewer people than my office in the corner. I was very happy and hoping the best for my new office location. He gave me two choices.

Choice 1 : First choice.

Choice 2 : Second choice.

He doesn’t understand.

My boss said that he had any other available office for me, so I have to stay in my main office where I am right now. I hope the new worker next to me will be silent, so I could focus.

Choice 1 : Return

First choice.

I decide to choose the office who is on the main floor, so the morning I won’t have a lot of stairs to climb. After one day, I had enough to be at this place. The front door who open and close all day make me feel sick because it’s cold outside and if I stay here another day this could be a dead-end on my work. I have to be focus at 200% because my job is super serious and this location doesn’t help me. I’m going to ask for the last time if I can relocate my office for the last time. Unfortunately, I will have to return to my main place if the boss doesn’t have another choice for me.

Choice 1 : The only choice.

Second choice.

I decide to choose the second location who is on the last floor. Nobody can come on this floor for no reason because it’s the last one and, we have nothing on it that can be useful for the employees. A few weeks have passed and I love this location, I have the best view on the city. Suddenly, I just received an e-mail of my boss.

Choice 1 : The good new.

Choice 2 : The bad new.

The good new.

I open the e-mail and my boss said that I will have a premium wage because of all the hard work I have made since I work for him and, also at the end of the day I always reach the purpose that I’m supposed to reach.

Choice 1 : Return

The bad new.

I open the e-mail and my boss said that he had a bad new for me... A new employee will come beside me. I didn’t laugh and I said that I would keep my office where I am now. I hope he will be silent.

The only choice.

My boss said that he had any other available office for me, so I have to return in my main office where I was at the beginning. I hope the new worker next to me will be silent, so I could focus.

I finally went see my boss and tell him that the new employee have a misconduct on the other woman employees and me. He was surprise about the situation because he really appreciated him when he met him the first time. After a long talk, he said that he would fire him because that’s very inappropriate.

After my overtime work, the new guy was still there. I decide to go talk about his strange behaviors to him. Maybe, it was only me who see these misconducts, but I was loosing nothing to go see him. I asked him if he has a trouble with all the woman employees because I saw some winks between them and that he was touching a lot of women. His answer was that he is very interested in many employees, and he loves have contacts with other people. After this conversation, I didn’t know what to do.

Choice 2 : Keep the secret.

Back home, I call the cops and I have warning them from the situation, and they said that this guy is not supposed to work at all. They said that he was a perpetrator and had a criminal record based on much sexual harassment. The cops will find him tomorrow at the beginning of his shift to take him in prison.

I can’t tell this information to anyone. I am really shaken about this and I’m scared of what he could do. Maybe, someone will have the courage to denounce him, but I’m not able right now.
