You have just finished high school and you need to make an important decision. Either you decide to go to Cegep in science to follow your dream of becoming an aerospace engineer or you decide to follow your passion and go study dance.

You go to many auditions, but after a few years you are not accepted anywhere and you start to worry. You are not able to start a career as a dancer because the competition is hard and there isn't many open positions left. You have two choices in front of you. Either you decide to go back to school in Cegep to study science or you decide to still have hope for your dance career and you start working at McDonald to make some money.

You have made the choice to go to school, but now you need to choose which school you want to apply to. You can either follow your boyfriend/ girlfriend who have decided to move to Quebec for their specific program or you can take the very hard decision to broke up with him/ her and stay in Laval where you live.

Working at a dead-end-job.

You start working at McDonald as a cashier where you get your first on the job training (OJT). You learned the ropes very fast and became a manager after just a few years. After obtaining the position of head manager, you start questioning your life decisions. You have two choices, either you stay at McDonald at the minimum wage and leave a low life or you decide to leave it all behind and start a new life by going back to school.

Choice 1 : Retire old and broke.

Choice 2 : Go back to school.

Go to Quebec.

You move in with your boyfriend/ girlfriend in a small apartment in Quebec, but things go wrong very fast. You are both too young, and it was too early to live together. After many arguments, you decide to broke up with him/ her. You realize you can no longer live in Quebec and decide to move back home in Laval. You will change school, but you will stay in the same program.

You have two choices of Cegep that are available to you to study in science. You can decide to go to Montmorency because it is a public Cegep which mean it will cost you less money and also it is near your house. The other choice is going to a private Cegep in Montreal.

The proximity of Montmorency Cegep helps you a lot with your study and you are able to have straight A's. It allows you to have more time to study because you loose less time when traveling to school. You have good grades and an opportunity opens up to you. You are offered an internship abroad. You need to choose between these two options. Either you decide to stay in Laval and finish your pre-university program in two years or you take this opportunity and decide to leave.

Choice 1 : Finish in two years.

Private Cegep in Montreal.

You loose a lot of time in public transport to go to this private Cegep in Montreal and you start failing some classes. You realize it wasn't a good idea to go so far away from your home and you don't have enough money to move in a residency or in an apartment in Montreal, so you decide to change school and apply at Montmorency Cegep.

Choice 1 : Decide to change to Montmorency Cegep.

Finish in two years.

You succeeded to pass all of your classes with a good average, so you could apply directly to university in aerospace engineering. You send your application to two universities and were accepted in both of them, so you need to choose between them. Your first choice is McGill University who is an English university. The second one is Polytechnic University in French.

Internship abroad.

You accepted the offer to do an internship abroad to have a foot in the door in this program, and they gave you two choices of internship. The first choice is an internship in Paris, France where you would work for a big engineering firm and the second choice is to go to England as an intern for a small company in a volunteering abroad project.

Choice 1 : Go to Paris.

Choice 2 : Go to England.

After a few weeks, you realize that studying in English is very hard and you lack of practice in this language. You like aerospace engineering, so you decide to abandon your study at McGill University and transfer to Polytechnic University in French. Your transfer is accepted and you continue your study at this university.

You finish your study in aerospace engineering with a lot of hard work, but you succeeded. You obtain your diploma and many options open for you. On your resume, you can say that you have mastered many important elements such as graphic design of aircraft and spacecraft, the capacity to calculate velocity of turbine and can create engines and propellers. Three different directions open up for your future.

Go to Paris.

You have a foot in the door in this big firm where you learn the ropes as an intern. They like you a lot, and they offer you to finish your study there with the gift of a job offer at the end of your studies. They also promise you to a premium wage when you are going to start working with them. You are skeptical as the idea of staying in Paris, but it could also be a worthwhile experience and life change. You are faced with a very important decision, either you accept or you refuse the offer.

Go to England.

You decided to go to England and volunteer in this project, but after a few weeks you start to worry about money because you are not paid as an intern. You have no choice, but to abandon and move back home. You do not have the fulfillment feeling you were expecting, but you knew this drawback before going to England, so you are not surprise. More often than not, people who enter internship with no wage, if they don't have enough fund, they need to give up.

You decided to refuse the job offer in Paris, so now you have decided to move back home. You finished your studies in Cegep and are looking to see which University you want to go to next year. You hope that with your background experience you are going to be able to pursue a career in aerospace engineering.

Stay in Paris.

You have decided to accept the job offer in Paris and the company is helping you to finish your studies. As promised, after obtaining your diploma they hire you with good benefits and a good salary. After a few years in Paris, you fall in love with a beautiful French man/ woman and you have three kids with him/ her.

Open your own firm.

You worked very hard, but you managed to have a small aerospace company with many employees. Over the years, you have developed many patents and accomplished to create many prototypes of aircraft and spacecraft. You also cooperated with big company such as NASA on various projects. You worked hard during many years, but you still managed to take a leave of absence to travel a little. You based your company with a nonsexual harassment environment and made sure there wasn't any corruption within your employee. You finally retired with a good pension fund. Your vacant position was proposed to your best manager who succeed to keep your company alive.

Become a teacher in high school.

You decided not to work as an aerospace engineer, but to become a science teacher. You are a good teacher and many of your students get straight A's. Your background study helped you to be able to have a compensation package and many benefits. You are surprised that you didn't become an aerospace engineer, but you are still happy because you can transfer your knowledge to others. You take your summer vacation to travel and to relax. You also want to take this time off to give to others, so you enrolled in many volunteering abroad projects. You finally retired with a good pension and continue to have a good life.

Work for a big firm in the city, Montreal.

You are hired in one of the biggest aerospace company of the industry and you are happy because it came with a lot of benefits and a premium wage. After a few years there, your firm got blamed for corruption. Some investigators found traces of bribery and threats were made. You are forced into a leave of absence during the investigation. You finally decided to give your resignation because you are not in favour of corruption and lost your respect toward the company. Two choices open up for you, either you decide to open your own firm or you decide to leave aerospace engineering and start your retirement.

Dead-end- job.

You have decided to retire, but after a few years you realized you didn't have enough money, so you needed to go back to work. You got hired in a dead-end-job because you lost all your potential when you stopped working and your background story of corruption isn't helping. You worked for several years in this small company, but you have the feeling of an unfulfilled life. You were never able to retire because your pension was low, so you worked there until your death.
