Target Structure:
I've been studying at Montmorency College in the Social Science program for the last three sessions. I chose to only focus the basic courses to be able to upgrade my grades. The reason why I have chosen that option it's because I want to be accepted at another college to do a technique. My goal is to be a Dog-Handler and for that I have to enter the Police Technology program and I want to enter it for my third year in college. I really want to get into the program, but will I get accepted? Or should I start looking for my second option or even third?
Choice 1 : Continue what I started
Choice 2 : Choose my second option.
Choice 3 : Third and final option.
Hopefully with efforts and whiling, I will succeed at entering the Police Technology program, If, I continue focusing my courses I will be able to reach the grades that are required for the Police Technology program, but before I have to make a choice between two colleges. Or if I'd like to move out of town I could go to Ontario.
Choice 1 : Ahuntsic College.
Choice 2 : Maisonneuve College.
Choice 3 : Ontario
If I ever get declined by one of the two previous colleges, I have a second option which will lead me to the same goal that is Dog-Handler. It's a different type of school and a very different process, but with time I will hopefully get to the same goal.
Choice 1 : Border Service Officer.
For years, I've been fascinated by war movies I have always been interested in going somewhere else in the country just to work. Plus I would be pleased to get a job where I can serve my country. Using an army uniform would be incredible for me and it's a great opportunity to go beyond my physical limits.
Choice 1 : Canadian Army.
Choice 2 : Royal Canadian Mounted Royal.
The advantage of going to Ahuntsic College is the physic tests required. One of the tests is swimming and I have been swimming all my life since I like swimming, plus I'm a lifeguard and I have to regularly jump in a pool to make sure I'm still in shape to work.
Choice 1 : Continue the program.
Choice 2 : Try my second choice.
Choice 3 : Try at Maisonneuve.
One of the advantages of going to Maisonneuve College, is that it's not too far from my house, but the physic tests are challenging and seem to be harder than Ahuntsic College.
Choice 1 : Continue the program.
Choice 2 : Try at Ahuntsic
Choice 3 : Try my second choice.
Joining the army will give me more experience of live than the career of an officer, simply because it's more dangerous to live the life of a soldier in the middle of a war. Even if it is dangerous at the end I get to work with dogs as I wanted in the beginning. I start joining the army and after a while of experience I can specialize with working with dogs to final be a Dog-Handler. If I'm not very happy with my choice, I can still join The Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Choice 1 : Royal Canadian Mounted Royal.
Choice 2 : continue in the army
Choice 3 : quit
To be able to work as a Border Officer I must go to ASFC CSBA College which is Agency's border services officers. It's 55 minutes far away from my house, but I could live there to make sure I would never miss a class.
Choice 1 : Work in all Canada.
Choice 2 : Try my third choice.
Working with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is a level up of all the Police services in Canada. I can get better by working with them than the Police SPVM.
Choice 1 : Quit
I could work all my life in the army if I get the job as a Dog-Handler like I've always wanted.
Choice 1 : Start again
Choice 2 : Quit
I was born in Montreal and I have seen how some of the Police Officers works here, I would really like to do a better job than them.
Choice 1 : Start again
Choice 2 : Police of Laval
Working with the Police of Laval could be a great idea since it's a city right beside the city of Montreal.
Choice 1 : Start again
Choice 2 : Montreal Police
After completing the Police Technology program and graduating (DEC) I have to go to (NPQ) the École Nationale de police du Quebec. It's an Academy for the police officers made for them to train hard for a period of 15 weeks before joining the police service.
Choice 1 : Police of Laval.
Choice 2 : SPVM.
A disadvantage of choosing this path is that they will choose for me a place to work in all the borders in Canada. At least, when I get the experience I'll be able to choose three top choices of where I would like to work.
Choice 1 : Montreal Airport.
Choice 2 : USA border.
It would be such a great opportunity to work in the Montreal Airport since I live on the same Island. It's an advantage for me since my family live here, and I also grew up here.
Choice 1 : USA border.
Choice 2 : Start again
Working right beside the USA border is an advantage, because I could easily go on vacation to USA and come back.
Choice 1 : Start again
Choice 2 : Montreal Airport
If my dream of becoming a Dog Handler does not come true, I would like to become a firefighter. The reason behind the fact that I always choose something similar to the cop category it's simple, I like saving people and I would love to have a work where I am able to help someone.
Choice 1 : Becoming a paramedic.
Choice 2 : Start again
I've always wanted to move out of town and moving to Ontario to study this program would be such a great dream. It would help me to improve my English.
Choice 1 : Ahuntsic College
Choice 2 : Maisonneuve College
