Becoming a business lawyer.
I'm studying Social Sciences administration profile at Montmorency College in Montreal, I'm almost done with school. This semester I felt very overwhelmed because of this uncertain situation. I tried hard to put aside distraction so, I could pull off straight'As. And now I'm really not sure about my future, let's take a look at my different possibilities.
Choice 1 : Graduated from Cegep and now accepted to HEC Business School in Montreal.
Choice 2 : Drop out of school because of too much stress.
Job of my life.
After 5 years I got my degree from university, I'm so excited. I learn the ropes of management and business and can't wait to start working because, now I have a purpose and it's becoming the best.
Choice 1 : At the graduation ceremony I was recruited as an intern in a company.
Choice 2 : Wait for 2 more years to do an on the job training at a private lawyer firm.
Choice 3 : I realized that management it's not for me, I decided to be a volunteer.
Drop everything.
School was draining thoroughly and I couldn't manage to pass my courses because I was doing cursory work on them. Now I'm depressed, life was becoming monotone, something was missing maybe the lack of fulfillment.
Choice 1 : I've realized that I'm wasting an invaluable time ant that may not be the right choice for me. Try something else.
Life as an intern.
It's been almost 6 months I'm an intern at this company everyone is nice with me, things were going well until a co-worker who was 10 years older than me starts a flirtation with me. That flirtation quickly turned into sexual harassment over time. A feeling of dread was in the air because he was becoming more and more aggressive. Yesterday when we were the only one left at the company he tried an approach I resisted, and he punched me in the face. What I should do?
Choice 1 : Talk about it to the HR.
Choice 2 : Accept the bribe that he proposed so, I keep my mouth shut.
OJT.
Even if I waited 2 more years to be accepted, I got in and It's perfect, what I always wanted. The wait was worthwhile. Twelve months after my OJT I finally became a Business Lawyer and I feel come in handy. The job comes with a lot of advantages like the compensation package and a premium wage. Now I'm doing overtime to gain more money for the future.
Choice 1 : Spend all my money day by day.
Choice 2 : Set aside for retirement.
Somewhere in the world.
Law Business School is really maddening because of too much competition, so I tried to have a different purpose in life and it's helping people in the need. I went to Panama and saw other people reality. The only drawback I can see is the income aspect, other than that, it's refreshing to help people and I think I will continue in others country with the help of organization. I found another passion.
Choice 1 : The end.
The office politics.
The HR of the company recognized the misconduct and suggested that I file an assault complaint. The perpetrator, my co-worker will probably lose his job for good because he didn't respect the office politics. Due my situation the HR decided to do a campaign against sexual harassment so that people are not getting sucked up in this type of situation.
Choice 1 : The end.
The bribe.
I accept the 10000 dollars bribe, but he still continues with his harassment and I can't talk about it because I accepted his money and I'm scared of the reprisals, It was a dead end. Now I have anxiety, stress trauma, fear, and nervousness.
Choice 1 : Go to see a psychologist.
Spend, spend, spend...
Now that I have spend all my money, I'm going to live on the government pension during my retirement which is not enough to ensure a good life and pay the house mortgage.

Retirement.
With all my saving and the government money I will ensure a safe retirement even though I will miss the drive of work. My time will be focused on travelling.

Mental health.
Throughout the year I spend all the bribe money on different psychologist's due all my trauma. My situation hinder me to move forward, it was a thoughtful decision but I choose to quit my position with no money left and a damage mental health. My co-worker didn't try to contact me after all and I hope that he did not find another victim like me. That experience will live in me forever...
