Last year of high school.

During my last years of high school, I got kick out of my school and I realized that wouldn't be able to graduate with my long term friends that I had past my entire High school with. I was wondering if I should've just drop out of school and go work full time or continue high school in a new school for my last years when I didn't know anyone.

I decide to leave high and go work with no diploma at the Couche Tard next to my house. I needed money to be able to pay my bills and get a better income but at this work I've been a victim of sexual harassment, which was maddening for me to work in this circumstance. I was wondering If I should've quit the job to find another one or denounce my coworker.

Graduate from high school in a new school.

I decided to finish high school even if it wasn't easy. I used to have good grades but after all the things that happened, I had a lack of motivation and didn't get my diploma because I was missing 2 credits. To get my diploma I had to pass one class that was 2 credit. I had the choice to go to an adult school to do that one class which was once a week, or go to Ahuntsic College and the adult school at the same time.

I quit my job.

I quit my job and put some money aside. I start my own business to get my own wage and be an independent worker. End of the story.

I choose to denounce my coworker to my manager, at first he didn't believe me, but they open a case, and after watching video camera, they realized that the story was real and my coworker got fired and I have been able to keep working, and I also had a salary increase.

I went to Marie-Anne Adult School to do a physical Education class. I had to go to this school once a week for 2 hours to do sports which I usually always do. I wasn't really motivated to leave my house and do a one-hour road for a two-hour class. I was in a situation where I wanted to skip classes or do the minimum and get my diploma.

I went to Marie-Anne Adult and Ahuntsic College at the same time. I went to Social Science at Ahuntsic and after my first session I got my diploma from Marianne. I was a full time student at Ahuntsic and I had to decide between play basketball or don't do sports.

I wanted to skip classes.

I've had gone to a couple of classes, but they were boring, and I was feeling like I was wasting my time, so I decide to skip classes to stay at home and sleep. One day, my teacher that was really nice to me and liked the same sport as I do called me because he realized I was missing class and made a deal to have me pass if I was doing a minimum of effort.

I decide to do the minimum and get my diploma from high school at Marianne. After that, I had a job offers to be a secretary in sports center I used to go when I was younger.

I decide to play basketball.

I decide to play basketball for the Indians of Ahuntsic, that used to be the name back then. At the end of my second year, just before the regional, I felt on my head during a game and I had a concussion. I had to choice between wait till I can play again, or drop everything and focus on school even if it were hard with a concussion.

I choose not to do sports because I didn't I had time for it on my schedule. I already had to choose between working more or focus on my grades.

I decide to wait till I could've played again. I was on the bench to support my teammates for only one game, then the rest of the season got suspended because of the COVID-19. Because I was a senior, I couldn't do anything, and I had to stop balling for good. From there, I dropped ball, and started focusing on my grades.

I decide over all that my grades were more important than the rest. The problem was that I realized it too late. I wanted to go in the Law program at UdeM, but I didn't know that the average to get in that program in Quebec was that high. It's harder to have a high average in Social Sciences programs. So, I did my research and I learned that at the University of Ottawa, you need an average of 80% to get into the Law program. My average is now at 78%, so I have to choose between Law, Criminology or psychology.

Working more.

I wanted to work more so I could've got some money to save for University, and just to make I was always busy, so I wouldn't chill. I tried it and my manager start overwhelm me of works and I had to overtime. She couldn't understand that I was still a part-time worker because I was still going to school, even if I did want more hours, I would've said that there was a lot of misconduct at this work. The facts that it was a dead-end job, wasn't a necessary work for me, I wanted to leave a couple of time because it would deter me, but I didn't. Instead, I asked my manager to give me fewer hours, so I could focus on school again.

My first choice will always be the Law program, but if I don't get in, it will be the Criminology program because it's the most related field.

My second choice will be the Criminology program because the second field that interest me the most. I should be accepted in this program, but if ever I'm not I would like to go in psychology.
