The High School is finished. Those years were not simple. I had a lot of exams. I finally had my diploma. My mother was really happy for me because I work hard. I want to be a food service manager. The Lasalle Collage and Montmorency College have this programme.

Choice 1 : Go to Lasalle college.

I decide to study at Lasalle College. I leave at Montreal and I have many friends at this school. The bill at this college is very expensive, but my patron decided to pay for two years. I will pay the other year. I work in a restaurant as a chef. She really believed in me. I was only 17 years old and my mother died in a car accident. Lola offer me to live with her. She's my second mother and my boss.

I work in a restaurant because I like food. Every day I cook. My dream is to have my own restaurant. The manager in the restaurant taught me a lot of things. For example, who he manage the food cost, the employee, etc. I will go to school, but I didn’t have enough money.

I saved my money and after one year to work a went to Montmorency College. I learn a lot. I Had threw internships and that was very useful because that was a preparation for the real life as a food service manager. I realize how much this will not be simple.

Work at elementary school or in a hotel. I have many possibilities after I have my diploma as foot service manager. For example, I can work in a hotel, in a school, day care, etc. They have benefits and disadvantages. It depends on what is my goals.

The real life.

I am finally a food service manager in a hotel. I really love my workplace. All my colleague respect me. I take the place very early because the ancient who has the job is dead. He was old. I work a lot every day. I come at the hotel at 08 o'clock in the morning. I am always the first. I make myself a coffee, and I am ready to start my day. The benefit I have it the free food in the hotel restaurant, but the best it is the dental insurance.The disadvantage is the overtime also I did not have the time for my family. The only time I can see my husband is at the restaurant in the hotel. He is the chef.

I am a food service manager at the elementary school in my neighborhood. Monday and Thursday I work at home and the other' s day at school. This is a private school, so I have a good budget for the food cost. I only order fresh food for my chef. The children have a healthy diet. It is conforms to Canada’s Food Guide. The benefit to work in this workplace is working time. I don't work on the weekend, because the school is close. I had a dream... I realize I love my job and I have a family.

The accomplishment in the life is to be happy, successful, etc. All the decision I take in my life has impact. This in essential to have a plan. Life is too short to be unhappy. My dream is to have my restaurant. Finally, I have it at Toulouse. During I was working I saved money with my husband. I am the food service manager and my husband the chef. We have 3 employees in the kitchen. We have one pastry chef, one sous-chef and one chef. In the dining room there are three waiters and a butler. Our days start early, and they finish late in the evening. Honestly every day are not easy, but this is the life I choose.
