My name is Miroslav Miskovski, and I am a student at Montmorency College. I am right now studying Social Science and I will pursue my studies in University to become a Financial Planner. This is going to be a story about the different choices that can affect your life. During my studies, I had the choice to either stay focused with my studies or go work to make money.

Choice 1 : Stay focused in school.

Choice 2 : Go to work.

Stay focused in school.

I was studying at Montmorency College I found my passion which was Finance. I really started to get interest from the stock market and to learn about taxes, so I could make more money. At the same time, my friends were inviting me to parties.

Choice 1 : Learn more about Finance.

Choice 2 : Party with my friends.

Go to work.

I find a job at a store that sells phones. During my first week, I meet a Financial Planner that wanted to buy a phone. He offers me to come work for him and to learn at the same time about stocks, which I love.

Choice 2 : Work for the Financial Planner.

At the moment, I am studying Social Science but I want to dig in more into Finance. I start looking it up and I found out there are all kinds. The one I really liked where the stock market and the real estate market. At this point, I have two choices either staying in college and staying focused on finishing my program, so I can go in University and learn about the stock market and Finance. The other choice is to quit college and join a school about the real estate.

Party with my friends.

My friends invite me to a party and I decide to go. I told myself that one party won't affect my studies and that I will go back to my studies the next after. I go at the party, there was a lot of people. I am not sure about staying too long because I have to study the next morning. Also, my friends offers me to smoke weed with him and two other girls.

Choice 1 : Leave the party early.

Choice 2 : Smoke weed.

Stay at my work.

I decide to stay at my work and work 40 hours a week while at my parents house. My parents tell me to save my money but I want to spend some.

Choice 1 : Save my money.

Choice 2 : Spend my money.

Work for the Financial Planner.

I decide to quit my job and to go work with Financial Planner. He tells me that I would have to teach myself a lot of things and I will have to be very resourceful. He tells me either I teach how make your money work for you or you go back to school to get a job that will pay me by the hour.

Choice 1 : Learn about money.

Choice 2 : Go back to school.

Finish cegep and go to university.

I decide to finish cegep and finish my studies in Finance. I start a new job which it will be a career and live a beautiful life.

I decide to go to a real estate school. In the middle of my training I realize I don't like it and that I want to quit.

Leave the party early.

I decide to leave the party early and go home to sleep, so I can wake up early the next morning and study. That was the best decision of my life because I got a very good grade at my exam and it's at that moment I realized that every decision you take in life will have an effect on your future. After, I continued my studies and went to university. I was in the program I loved and finished it with a great GPA and soon after I found a great job in my domain that I kept for the rest of my life.

Smoke weed.

That day, I decided to go smoke with my friend and 2 girls. It was my first time. After that moment, nothing was the same ever. The next day, I was lazy to study for my exam and I eventually failed my exam. I always wanted to smoke and have fun with other people. I failed almost all of my classes and quit school. I was only working to pay off my weed and food. I was addicted to weed and I had no ambition like I use too.

Save my money.

I decide to listen to my parents and save my money. At the same time I am learning about investing in the stock market. I decide to put some money that I saved and to buy a few stocks of different companies. After a few months I realise that was my passion and that I wanted to do this for the rest of my life. I continued to work for a few years and continued to invest every month. Later on, I didn't need to work for me because my money was working for me and I eventually opened my company.

Spend my money.

After getting money from my job I decide to spend it on food, clothes, shoes, and weed. I am left with no money until my next pay. I am living day by day, and I am not thinking about the future. This goes on for a while, I am basically made money and spend on things that I don't really need. My desire, to learn new ways of making money is not there and my desire to go to school is not there because I buy things that make me feel great. Spending my work money makes me forget there is more I can do with it.

I decide to take his advice and spend my time with him. He teaches me everything about money. I learn about how to play with money and how to invest me. He teaches me what he has to do as a financial planner. He teaches me a lot about the stock market and about taxes. After, this experience I realize this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. After this experience, I decide that I want to go back to school and learn everything about it, so I can have my diploma.
