Choice to make.
I just started studying at Montmorency College and I still didn't know what I wanted to do after I finished my studies there. I am currently studying in computers and networks. Only my DEC would be fine to have a good job in the future, but I can also continue my studies further if I go to a university like ÉTS.
Choice 1 : Go to a university.
Choice 2 : Internship.
Internship.
I had my first on the job training not too long ago at my second job. First we had a two-day class for trainees that explained the ins-and-outs of the job and all the necessary information before starting to work. They talked about the wages and the drawbacks of the job. Then, we started the OJT, 3 days of work with a trainer. It went pretty well I had no trouble grasping everything I needed to know. Now I work 16 hours a week on the weekends and 40 hours a week when I'm on breaks and school isn't taking up all my time. I still have time to decide if I want to go to university or continue with my current job.
Choice 1 : Go to a university.

It was the second week of the semester and my teachers had already begun piling on the homework. After dinner, I gave my Maths homework a cursory glance and I knew I had to make a decision about my time management. Even though I know it's going to be very tough it is possible for me to put aside all distractions and give a thorough examination through my homework. It is very maddening to do homework for more than an hour It feels like I'm getting nowhere. I knew it was going to be though to have enough motivation to do homework every day. Is it really worth it?

Work as a computers and network technician.
I started working as Computers and Networks Technician and it is a fulfilling job. We always have work to do and it can be sometimes very demanding. I try to save as much money as I can in a REER to have enough money for when I retire. Although I like my job, I would probably like to learn more things about my domain. I could continue working here till retirement or maybe go back to studies for a bit and go further in my domain. I don't know what I want to do yet.

work as an engineer.
I started working as an engineer a couple weeks ago and I found that that I more often than not get sucked up in office politics. It mostly happens because others try to hinder you work or have fun undermining it. It hinders your work when someone says negative things about your work. It can sometimes feel like they're undermining you more than your work. After that, you try to do the same to them so it becomes more equal and you try to withhold what you can, and advantage yourself over them. I really want to try to not get involved in office politics and putting the interest of the organization above mine because they're the ones that pay me.
Choice 1 : Retirement.
Retirement.
I set aside enough money saved up to easily live the rest of my life without any difficulties, all of my mortgages and debt were paid off. My work life was fun and I felt Fulfilled about it. It was time for me to retire. The drive of work was gone and sometimes it felt like drudgery. It is finally time to retire and take care of myself for a change.
