The pandemic.

You are in Science at Montmorency College. You were doing great your first year in the program. You were motivated and had fun with your friends at school. Then, everyone's lives changed when a pandemic hit the world. Schools had to close and you finished your session online. You are now in the middle of your first completely online session. You only go to school for labs. You haven't seen your friends for a long time and even stopped talking to some of them. Your new classroom is your bedroom and you spend most of your days sitting in front of your computer. Some of your teachers don't even teach, they just send you videos and you complete your notes alone. Needless to say you aren't as motivated as you were last year...

Choice 1 : Even if it is hard, you keep doing your best and stay focused.

Choice 2 : The distractions are too much for you. You are scrolling on your phone instead of listening to your classes and spend your nights playing video games.

Graduation.

You did it! You just graduated in Science at Montmorency College. You even got amazing grades because you gave it your best. You opened yourself a lot of doors and can now choose what you want for your future.

Choice 1 : You choose a university close to your home so you can stay with your family and friends.

Choice 2 : You choose a university far from home and have to move out.

Choice 3 : You think you earned a year off. You always wanted to move to British Columbia and ski there the whole winter, now's the chance.

Downfall.

Your grades are dropping. You are falling behind. Even with your love for biology, you don't have the motivation to continue in your other subjects. You fail some classes and soon realize you won't be able to get in the university program you wanted.

Choice 1 : You change program and therefore end your dream of becoming a biologist.

Choice 2 : You drop out of school due to lack of motivation

Dead-end job.

You did not fulfill your dream of becoming a biologist. You are stuck in a dead-end job, working nine to five for the rest of your life.

Choice 1 : Try again

British Columbia.

You got yourself a job at the Whistler ski resort. You skied all winter and made amazing new friends. You realized how different life is in British Columbia. You kinda like the way of living in B.C. Your friends work small jobs but the nature in British Columbia is breathtaking. They spend the summer surfing and fishing and get to ski in amazing places during the winter. You had an amazing time during your stay, but you now have to choose where you want to go from here.

Choice 1 : Go back home to continue your studies.

Choice 2 : Stay in British Columbia.

Unexpected ending.

You decided to stay in B.C. Thanks to the connections you made, you were able to get a decent job and most importantly, have fun. You and your friends are always having a blast. It is not the life you anticipated, but it definitely is a lot of fun!

Choice 1 : Try again

University in Montreal.

You are doing great. You can see your friends and family whenever you want and get good grades. You eventually finish your scholarship and get offered many jobs as a biologist.

Choice 1 : Marine biologist.

Choice 2 : Any other field in biology

University far from home.

You are excited to move out at first, but you soon realize you miss all of your loved ones. Then, your parents don't want to help you pay for your rent, food and essentials, as they feel like you abandoned them. You have to get a job and end up being less focused on your studies. You unfortunately can't get your degree and have to go back home.

Choice 1 : Your parents let you live with them, but you now have to pay for your food and essentials, as they feel you are now old enough.

Marine biologist.

On your first day as an apprentice, you are helping a team of biologists on a boat in the Atlantic. Unfortunately, a storm hits the sea as you are miles from the shore. The waves are way too big and the boat wasn't made for battling such a storm. You lose balance and knock down samples collected earlier. You cut yourself from all the broken glass on the floor. A wave flips the boat and everyone on board sinks with the boat. No survivors were ever found...

Choice 1 : Try again and choose a safer work environment

A happy life.

You made it, you are a biologist. You are happy at work and live a happy life close to the people you love.
