Story of a psychologist.

High school is finally over!

I am about to finish my 2 years of Social Sciences at Montmorency College, and I am really excited about University. I need to choose where I am going to go and in which program. I’m hesitating between doing a PhD and a master, both in psychology. I went to visit many places and I’m unsure where I want to go to.

Choice 1 : Go to the University of Montreal for a Ph-D.

Choice 2 : Go to the University of Laval for a master.

I am enjoying my experience here. I met new friends passionate about the human brain just like me. I am enjoying all of my courses and how my professors teach. I feel fulfilled by my program and my life. I just finish my doctorate and I don’t know if I want to take a break or pursuit my career.

I am taking a break before starting my career to find another purpose. The life of many people in Uruguay feels dead-end. I help children by fixing their school and it feels so good to in-depth my humanity. The moments here are invaluable and I don’t even think of the premium wadge would have made in an internship in my field.

I’m 65 years old, and I take my retirement with the money I set aside. I live happily ever after visiting my children’s and grandchildren.

I have worked here for 30 years. Through the years, I find harder, more often than not, to have a dead-end job. As an assistant, I always feel like the psychologists withhold information about students from me. They undermine my participation.
