Write this part of the story here and present your reader with choices. In this narrative hypertext, I’ll be telling you my story. I am 20 years old. I go to Montmorency College. I am studying Social Science and it is my last session in college. I have a part-time job in a pharmacy. I work there as a cashier. Since I have final exams these 2 weeks, I hesitate between working more hours to make more money, but concentrate less on my exams or having fewer hours of work but having better grades in my finals.

Choice 1 : Making better grades by working fewer hours.

By working fewer hours, I will be able to concentrate on my studies. So, I can have better grades in my college's report. In this way, I can go to better programs in August.

If I can get good grades in this session, I can apply in programs that allow me to have a better income in the future. So, I can start university in August. In this case, I still risk not to being accepted and I will get my bachelor's degree later than when I'm supposed to.

I applied in two universities in January. The first one is University of Montreal for a bachelor in Accounting. The second one is University of Laval for a Law's bachelor.

Choice 1 : University of Laval.

Choice 2 : University of Montreal.

University of Laval.

For University of Laval, I applied for a Law bachelor. I am not sure if I love this major, but I am really interested in humans' rights and everything related to it. in fact, Is till didn't get the answer for university.

University of Montreal.

For university in Montreal, I applied in Accounting. I got accepted. I really love this field of study. In fact, this major allows me to work from home. So, this fact allows me to have a big family because since I can work from work, I will be able to manage my time between my home, my kids and my work.

Working more hours but having bad grades.

By working a lot of hours, I can enjoy my Christmas vacation by working fewer hours and I can spend the money that I earned from these two weeks of work. On the other hand, I won't be able to be concentrated a lot on my studies because I won't have time. In fact, I have 6 classes this session, so I have a minimum of exams these two weeks. Therefore, by working more hours, I risk failing a class or I can pass all of my classes with less good grades.

Accepted in Law.

I am not sure if I love being a lawyer, but I am really interested in human rights and everything related to it. So, I am still not sure if I accept the offer when I get it.

Not accepted in Law.

Since I am still not sure if I want to become a lawyer, I won't be mad or sad if I don't get accepted in University of Laval. But in this case, I have the choice between going to the University of Montreal or taking a break in the session of winter 2021 and apply to new fields of study for fall 2021.

Fail a class.

If I fail some of my classes, I will have to take the classes that I fail in the winter 2021 to get my college degree. So, even if I got accepted in university, I won't be able to start it in the next session.

Accept the offer in Law.

If I finally decide to become a lawyer, I will do my bachelor in Law at the University of Laval. For the winter 2021, the classes will be online, so I can do my classes from home. For the next years, since the University of Laval is located in Quebec City, I will have to choose between moving to Quebec City or staying in Laval and applying to other universities in the next years (when the pandemic will end and the classes will be online).

Choice 1 : Move to Quebec City.

Choice 2 : Apply to other universities in the next years.

Not accept the offer in Law.

If I decide to not accept the offer in Law, I will go to the University of Montreal or if I find that I am not interested in Accounting, I will take a vacation to discover what is the field of study that interests me.

Choice 2 : Take a break and apply to the session of winter 2021.

By knowing that nor Accounting nor Law are the fields that interest me, the only choice that I have is to try a lot of jobs by doing internships, be trying new jobs, by travelling or just by taking more time to learn to know myself better.

Stop studying and get married.

Once I have my bachelor's degree, I can stop studying and start working and then, I can get married and have a family.

After having my Bachelor's degree, I can decide to continue my studies by doing a master. In this way, I will be better paid when I finish my master. In this case, I still have choices. I can stop studying and chose to be get married or I can decide to do a PhD.

Choice 1 : Apply for a PhD degree

Move to Quebec City.

If I have enough money and if I am able to live far away from my family and friends, I can choose to move to Quebec City to be able to attend my classes at the University of Laval that is located in Quebec City.

I can try to apply to some universities in Montreal that have the same program that I will be studying (law) to stay in Montreal. I risk not be accepted if they don't have enough places.

Apply for a PhD degree.

It is really nice to have a PhD degree in the field of study that interests you. So, I wish to be able to have a PhD degree someday. But by applying to a PhD, I risk not being accepted.

I think it would be perfect if I can be accepted at a university in Montreal if I decide to do Law.
