Stressed out.

Eat, sleep, study and repeat..

Everyday is the same routine, it start when I wake up after a long almost sleepless night and wonder if this education is really worth it. After some mental meditation, I finally got up and get my day going. Being a student at Montmorency College isn't that bad, but when all your Social Science homework pill up, it can get pretty stressful. Especially that today, when I finished all my online classes, I had two choice:

Choice 1 : Catch up on all my work.

Choice 2 : Finish watching my favorite show for the third time.

Catch up on all my work.

I sat down at my desk and started listing all the things I had to do and got to work. My brother had seen how much I was putting effort, so he went and got me my favorite Starbucks drink: an iced latte with oat milk. I felt really empowered and accomplish when I had finish all my work. I wondered what would happen if I always put this much effort into school related task. I finally decided.

Choice 1 : Finish watching my favorite show for the third time.

Choice 2 : Keep up with my hard work to become a well-paid Psychiatrist.

Finish watching my favorite show for the third time.

After a lot of thinking, I decided that school wasn't going to affect my future that much. Anyway, I've always wanted to become an internet influencer, and to become one you don't necessarily need a top-notch education. So, I laid down in bed and continued watching Gossip Girl, my favorite TV show. I wanted to be just like Blair Wadolf and Serena San Der Woodsen, walk all day in my expensive high heel and hang out with A-list celebrity. Sadly, I knew that it wouldn't happen that easily. So I got up and made a choice.

Choice 1 : Keep up with my hard work to become a well-paid Psychiatrist.

Choice 2 : I started my Youtube channel.

Keep up with my hard work to become a well-paid Psychiatrist.

I made the plan to keep up with my hard work so that I will finish school sooner. I really shocked myself because after that, I slide through the semester really easily with high grades. The summer started and I never felt this good. I felt free and felt like I was finally getting my life together. With University waiting for me in next fall and my whole summer free, I knew I wanted to take time for myself. I had two choice:

Choice 1 : I started my Youtube channel.

I started my Youtube channel.

I realise that I love to show people what I do during the day on my Instagram, and so I thought that I could start my own Youtube channel where I can vlog everything I do during a day. I set up my new channel and brainstormed ideas of what could I do for the rest of the week so that it could be vlogging material. I woke up the next day with a phone call. It was for an internship I had applied too. They actually accepted my appliance and told me I could start tomorrow. I was really taken by surprise because I had forgotten about that internship. I was torn between two choice:

Choice 1 : Go on the internship.

Choice 2 : Film my first video.

Go on the internship.

I decided that becoming a psychiatrist was really my main goal in life. As a matter of facts, this internship in a private psychiatrist cabinet is going to be really helpful for my future. After just a week of presenting myself there, I was already in love with it. I had become close with the employees and my manager. I sometimes thought about how it would've been if I had followed my other dream, the one about becoming an influencer. But I was honestly so proud of myself and where I was with my studies that I couldn't imagine myself somewhere else.

Choice 1 : Eat, sleep, study and repeat..

Film my first video.

Refusing the internship was pretty stressful and kind of ignorant from my part because I was loosing a good opportunity. Nevertheless, I still got ready and filmed my first video ever. After a week of filming and editing, I finally put it out for the world to see. Surprisingly, it did very well! After just 3 days, it was on the top charts. From that moment on, I never got out of the house without my camera. I loved editing and seeing the reaction of my followers. One night, after all my social media skyrocketed with followers, I was back in bed and I could finally sleep in peace with no psychiatrist needed.
