Tough Business

Which school ...

You just finished CEGEP at Ahuntsic College and you're now wondering which business school you should choose. You really want to succeed in your study and be an educated person. You are currently looking at two different schools, the ESG department at UQAM, or the HEC Montreal School. You don't really know what to expect, you only heard that HEC was a little harder and that there is a lack of variety.

Choice 1 : Go to HEC Montreal.

Choice 2 : Go to ESG UQAM.

Montreal

Go to HEC Montreal.

You just finished your Bachelor in administration, you had a great time at HEC Montreal, you made a lot of friends and had plentiful of parties. But now you must choose a job with a good wage because you deserve it. You can either apply to work in finance on Wall Street, or try to work for a company as an accountant. On one hand, working on Wall Street is something that promises a lot of financial benefits. As you probably already know, a broker earns a considerable amount of money, and knowing the ins-and-out of the stock market can only make your bank account grow. On the other hand, working in companies could bring you more of a relaxed life, it’s a job that gives a decent salary and can give you more variety within the range of companies you can choose.

Choice 1 : Wall Street.

Choice 2 : Work for a company as an accountant.

Graduation

Go to ESG UQAM.

Like every UQAM student, you've now become a social justice warrior. Money, the drive of work and living in an established capitalist society doesn't meet your entitled list of criteria for your life. You go to every manifestation, close the school and live by criticizing others for their hard work while you sit in your parent's house smoking the devil's lettuce. School isn’t a place where you study and work to achieve a goal, it is for you a place to converse Marx’s manifesto, a place to spread communist propaganda and to raise ideologies to defeat the evil capitalists of this world. Throughout the years, you’ve become the leader of the anti-money club at UQAM University. The goal of this club is to take down all schools and governmental systems in the province to establish a social system of perfect equity based on equality of outcome. You can stop this nonsense, raise yourself back up and go to HEC Montreal like you should have, or continue your mystical journey as a social justice militant as you fight the good fight.

Choice 1 : Go to HEC Montreal.

Choice 2 : Continue your mystical journey.

Social Justice Warrior

Wall Street.

You have so much money you can't spend it all. Millions are filling your pockets as you are reading this, what more do you need? Your job as a broker gave you so many riches throughout the years, interns are looking at you like a god. Now that you have all the dollars you want, you can finally go back to your mansion and throw the biggest party ever. You arrive at your personal island and prepare everything. You order tons of food, beers, wine, bartenders and all of your friends. Your “invite list” has now more than a thousand people. You don’t know half of them, but it doesn’t matter because you want to make it perfect. Now that everything is ready you are waiting for people to arrive.

Choice 1 : Throw the biggest party ever.

Wall Street

Work for a company as an accountant.

Your life was a very good one, most would describe it as normal and simple. But you are proud of what you've achieved. You worked in small companies all your life, helping them grow, you met your beautiful significant other and had kids. You are retiring soon and looking back at all the beautiful years. As you volunteered for helping people in need, everyone knows you for your generous hearth now. For your purpose you can rest easy, all you have to do for the rest of your life is enjoy it. Even if you could have more money, even you if there is a lot of things you regret doing, your simple life gave you the satisfaction to smile while reflecting on your past. Now it's time to set aside your worries and do something worthwhile.

Family

Continue your mystical journey.

You've done it; you are now the lord of all Hippies, the all mighty Arch-Druid. Your life full of adventures has now for home a world as John Lennon would have imagined. Territories, government, power, money, mortgage, income and greed are now words of the past. After long years of endless fights and rebellion, men and women have defeated classes and economic injustice, the revolution started because of you and your anti-money club in UQAM. Humans now live peacefully in harmony on earth. Every day you take walks in the woods. As the wolves, squirrels, deer and other creatures of the forests follow you, healthy grass grow on the ground as your feet leave it tracing your footsteps. The earth is now a safe haven, and you are its protector. Cannabis now represent 80% of the world’s global flora, it is now called the nectar of the gods. Your life ends in the most peaceful version of humanity. The end.

The Druid

Throw the biggest party ever.

During the first hour of your grand ceremony, you already drank a few beers. You flirt with people as you are getting tipsy. After a couple more of hours nothing makes sense, you’ve never drunk so much you can’t see clearly anymore. You take a few shots of vodka with your Russian friends as they prepare more of them. You start feeling worse and worse, your head hurts, you run in walls as you desperately try to stand correctly. After long minutes of fight, you head for the toilet and do your thing to feel better but nothing is coming out. Time flies and you end up at the hospital. The amount of alcohol in your body is way too high and doctors are scared for your life. You then die in the morning around 8 a.m. No one is at your funeral, your greed for money and power left you alone and without family. Your life full of misconduct and chase of the invaluable reserved a sad end for you. The end.
