The beginning.

You are a student and your study program is Science of Nature. You have planned on studying chemistry at university. You experience some difficulty in some course. So far, you have been studying with as much minimal effort as in high school. You wonder if you should give up on your dream job and find another job.

You have completed your cegep and mark had good enough mark to be easily accepted in the Chemistry program you wanted at university. It is your second year of university and recently you had bad marks because you got bored and anxious of being a bookshelf rat. Another with whom you were often time studying with offers you to join with him the criminal life of a chemist, after you chat with him about how you felt about studying. On the other hand, you do not want to get involved on the dark market of drugs. What should you do?

Stress, anxiety, and effort.

You have begun your last year of university and you are already studying hard and you are getting more and more anxious as the time flows. You also started to enjoy less the activity that you usually enjoy. You realise that you badly need a break but your so close to the end of your study.

You have finish and pass all your course and now you can finally find your dream jobs! All these years of struggle are over, or are they? When you tried to complete your CV, you found the task way harder than anticipated. You don't know why but not only the CV but everything seems to be harder and more tiring than it once was. You feel exhausted. You go see your doctor, and he refers you to psychologist. The diagnostic an exhaustion due to over pushing yourself at studying over a long time which is similar to a burn out. Your treatment, she told you is to take a long break, to stop looking for a job for the moment and take care of yourself. You return home, wonder why it has to happen to you and why it does not happen to most.

You need to find a job, you may not want a dead end job, but such a job require skill that you have not yet acquired. Luckily for you, you know that an internship could grant you the needed skill and give you a chance of finding a job with a career perspective.

Criminal life.

You chose to take part to the criminal as chemist. Even tho, you did not complete your course at school, you were able of synthesize cocaine and many others drug. Everything went well until those for who you were working were arrested and you may be at risk of being imprisoned if you stay in your current city but you asked some of your criminal contact to find a way to make sure it does not happen. You received an offer to go work in another country. It will avoid you prison but you may never return home.

Staying in your country cost you your freedom. Your ex-employer had leaked your name to the police and you were arrested for the production of narcotic. In your trial you were judged guilty. You were than sent to prison and jailed. You are now in your penitent cell purging time. For now, you are thinking that when you return to society it will be way easier return to your criminal life than finding a job. Your fate remains unknown.

You successfully avoided prison, you moved from Canada to a South American country which meant that when you arrived you were rich. Thanks to the strength of the Canadian dollars in comparison to your new country currency. By well-spending your money, you end out living a good live, not a dream life because you remained a chemist you were not one of the leaders of your group.

Delaying the end of school ended out being a good idea because studying became less horrible than a chore. You were able to complete your study program and find your dream job. You love your job because it makes you feel fulfill. In fact, you love it so much that you even forget to enjoy everything life has to offer and it is why you will never start a family.

You got a job!

After many internships and many demands for a job you were finally accepted for an office job with career perspective. Everything went well and nothing unusual happen until you were assigned to a new post. You found out that your new co-worker was a corrupt bribe. When you caught a chat of him with a stranger on his computer by a miss clicking while looking for a document, you were horrified to see that the chat was about an agreement of hiding information in exchange for a big amount of money. Shortly after your discovery, your co-worker found out since you were in the same room. Now he attempts to buy your silence just like any bribe would. You don't want to ingrain corruption into your workplace but it would be profitable for you, especially if you are able to make a long term arrangement with your co-worker.

Many years after getting a dead end job you find out that dead end job are often time boring and some are so repetitive that you can make an introspection of yourself while your doing it. You have started to feel a lack of meaning for your life. You are thinking about returning to school to eventually find an office jobs. As you walk by an advertisement board for all kind of activity, you look at it and found an advertisement for volunteering abroad. You are thinking that the idea of volunteering abroad attractive but you do not know you will like it. You know one thing for a fact you want some change in your life.

Wealth.

You and your co-worker became co-bribe and you mutually helped each others career. You were corrupted by the power of cash. Looking back to all of what you did in the name of money. You have some regret from time to time but you quickly forget those regret when you remind yourself that you are wealthy because of that.

Problem with another employee.

Denouncing your co-worker granted you nothing but the satisfaction of knowing that your workplace is cleaner and a good reputation. Your co-worker was removed from his post and you were assigned with another co-worker. You quickly find out that your new co-worker is the kind of co-worker which make sure to look as well as possible in front of his boss no matter the means. He causes you issue and you must do something about it.

Early retirement.

You have retired early and now you find out that you have not set enough aside for your hobbies. You will have to live mainly from the little you have. You go outside for a walk and wonder about your situation. When you walk by a small animal shelter, you stop and decide to take a look inside. Inside you ended out speaking with the owner. After a while he offered you to volunteer in the animal shelter and you accept his offer since It would also keep you busy and finally give you a more meaningful meaning to your life.

Your journey to help freely in a foreign country was very satisfying for you not only did you get an in-depth look inside that country, but you found a purpose. This is why that when you returned home from your journey you started planning another one. You have also rectified your life goal from living to help others who are in need for as long as you can.

You have return to school and you got a better job. Now, your job was correct, you don't hate your job but you don't like it either. Returning to school did not allow you to find the meaning to your life you wanted but your it did improve your life condition. You know that you have to already prepare yourself for retirement.

Retiring lately allowed you to have many hobbies, and to be kept entertained in your retirement. Your retirement is for you just as if you had gained your freedom even tho your life did not have much meaning. You can still say to your friend that at least you are able to say that in the end you enjoyed life.

Your complains were heard by the human resource which was able to fix your problem with this employee by assigning him with another employee. You were also assigned with another employee from the company. You are now happy know that your workplace will not be toxic if you complain to human resource. To summarize your life is going to be normal.

You were successful at first at making him regret what he did to you but the situation ended getting worse. You and your co-worker ended out in a rivalry which was toxic for the productivity of your team. When you were separated without consent by the human resource, you found out that you had became toxic and that you became like your last last co-worker. The rest of your life was normal beside the fact that you were more stressed than most people.

Finally, it is time to find a job.

After completing your treatment and slowly comeback from the bottom of what life has to offer you are looking for a job. You are undecided about taking a job that will require you to work on a full time schedule or on a partial time schedule. A full time schedule would keep you busy but are scared about the possibility of a burn out. On the other hand, a partial time schedule may give you more time for yourself and prevent a burn out.

You like your job but often time, you were unsatisfied because you would have liked to make more at work but you were too afraid of burning out again with full time schedule. Beside that and the fact that you spare time that you spent worrying about your future you were happy. Later on, you met the one who gave birth to your child and allowed you to keep you busy at home.

Full time job.

In the end, it turned out to be a great idea to find a job with a full time schedule since you enjoyed doing it. You did also make sure to enjoy everything life had to offer because you have experience something similar to a burn out. You were also able to share your life with someone special and you live with and have a child. Now near your end looking back to your course that led to who you are, you are thinking that you lived the best life that you could live.
