He furthermore said he was a lawyer for twenty-five years, he had graduated from the Oxford University, he was showing off the fact that he had the best grades in his class.Sean had first expected a regular interview, and he was surprised that the interview was not an interview, the senior partner wanted Sean to solve a case that he had made for Sean. Sean realized that he had to show Harvey his abilities to solve a case and Sean had to prove the innocence of a man that was accused of murder and Sean was given all the information of the case. The man was accused of killing his father, he was a young man living in a poor neighborhood, the young man was previously arrested for disturbing the peace and starting riots, the neighbor of the young man overheard a conversation between the young man and his father from the window, that ended with the son saying he would kill him and a few seconds later the neighbor said that he heard the father fall to the ground, he than went to open the door to see what's going on he saw the son running down the stairs as fast as possible. Furthermore, Harvey said that this simulation of a case would reflect on whether Sean would or wouldn’t get hired, which meant that if Sean couldn't prove the young man's innocence, he most probably would not get hired.

Once, Sean arrived at the interview he was met by the secretary of the senior partner he would be assigned to, she directed him to the senior partner's office.Upon arrival in the office he was met by the senior partner. The partner introduced himself to Sean, his name was Lester he was a Hispanic man, he had curly brown hair, with brown eyes, and he had an American accent. He furthermore said he was a lawyer for fifteen years, he had graduated from the University of Harvard, he was showing off the fact that he actually did not have the straight a's in school and that he was not the top of his class.Sean realized that Lester was a man who is not book smart but is a man who accomplished everything he had done through hard work and through his real life abilities, and at that moment he had realized that he will not be hired because of his good grades and that he had wasted so much time studying, being in class, doing homework, asking the teacher questions and spending some much time in the library of his college and cegep to study. Sean had first expected a regular interview, and he was surprised that the interview was not an interview but actually a game to prove his worth to the firm, the senior partner wanted Sean to solve a case that he had made for Sean. Moreover, Lester said that this simulation of a case would reflect on whether Sean would get hired, which meant that if Sean couldn't prove the young man's innocence, he most probably would not get hired. Sean had realized that this simulation is like a test drive for his future job.
Choice 1 : The neighbor probably did not hear correctly.
Choice 2 : It was an act of self-defence.
Sean used the fact that the neighbor overheard everything through the window and probably jumped to conclusions that the son said he would kill his father but instead another person was involved that said those words and was the one that killed the father, and tried to blame it on the son.
Choice 1 : next.
Sean used the fact that it might be an act of self-defence because the father could have been an abusive man and would release his anger on his son, in addition that because of his previous charges he was probably a child who caused a lot of trouble because he grew up in a bad neighborhood and had bad parenting which caused him to act up all the time, which is why the neighbor probably thought it was the young man who said that he would kill his father but actually it was the father who said it and had a knife in his hands and because of that the young man quickly defended himself and in return he accidentally killed his own father.
Choice 1 : next.
The senior partner said that Sean was wrong because there is no proof that there was another person involved. The partner further on pointed out to the fact that in a real life a judge would not accept that fact because it goes on nothing but speculations.
