You decide to take a year off. You want to travel and explore the world during this year, but you also need money to be able to travel and for the school fees next year.

After all this school years, you want to give yourself a trip. You just have enough money to travel a bit. You are not sure which trip you want to take, either a trip to volunteer abroad in a country in need, or an all-inclusive trip to relax.

Choice 2 : Take an all-inclusive trip to Cuba.

You choose to go at UQAM.

You are now at UQAM. The program is awesome and you love it. You make a lot of new friends and the teachers are interesting. You clearly fell in love with that field of study. You are really lucky to have been accepted. However, you have a new choice to make. For your last year in the program, you need to make an internship and you can choose where. You can choose between being an intern in a jail of in a youth center. Which one will you choose?

You choose to go to Concordia University.

You choose to go to Concordia University but, you have no friends there because everyone that you know chose has gone to UQAM, HEC or others university. For your last year in the program, you need to make an internship and you can choose where. You can choose between being an intern in a private school of in a youth center. Which one will you choose?

You decide to go volunteering abroad.

You have planned your first trip to Africa to go help repair an elementary school. You are so excited. You were bored with doing the same job with the minimum wage, to always have the same tasks, and to be taken to do this repetitive work without helping the community. You don't know anyone who left their dead-end job to go volunteering abroad, but you are ready to face this challenge. You have the opportunity to have this experience because you are not in debt and, at this moment in your life, you don't need a premium wage, you only have the purpose of making a difference in your life. After making your humanitarian trip, you want to go back to school. You would like to go either at UQAM or Concordia. With one will you choose?

You become a psychologist.

You work for a psychologist's office. You always wanted to be a psychologist because you had a lack of accomplishment in your life. You like to help people feel better and you like to feel worthwhile in the development of a person. You like to feel your accomplishment when you see a patient going out of your office with a smile. You work a lot of overtime, so you often stay late at the office. You stay at your desk and take out your papers to see if you are making progress with your patients.

You become human resource manager.

You work in human resources. You like meeting people and ensuring their comfort. You think you would be good at evaluating people's ability to work in a business. You are essential in large companies, you take care of hiring people with the help of their background written on their CV, to choose the appropriate salary for the employee, and ensure good communication between the company and its employees. Large companies need you because the manager cannot manage the company and the care of the employees. It is essential for them to have people responsible like you for creating schedules, controlling vacation requests and replacing vacant position by hiring new people.

Intern in a jail.

You choose to do your internship in a prison. You think on-the-job-training is great because you can base yourself on what others are doing to do the same thing, and in addition to learning your job, you learn the good way the company wants to operate. As an intern, you need to start with a foot in the door to learn and then climb the ladder. While you were talking with your supervisor, you heard someone screaming in the stairwell. You do nothing because it is your first day or you go see what is happening.

Choice 2 : You go see what is happening.

Intern in a private school.

You choose to do your internship in a private school. You think on-the-job-training is great because you can base yourself on what others are doing to do the same thing, and in addition to learning your job, you learn the good way the company wants to operate. As an intern, you need to start with a foot in the door to learn and then climb the ladder. While you were moving into your new office, a little girl from this high school came to your office door crying. You do nothing because it is your first day or you tell her to sit down to listen to her problem.

Intern in a youth center.

You choose to do your internship in a youth center. You think on-the-job-training is great because you can base yourself on what others are doing to do the same thing, and in addition to learning your job, you learn the good way the company wants to operate. As an intern, you need to start with a foot in the door to learn and then climb the ladder. You really like your experience with the young people of the center, you can't wait to start your new job. After all these years of study, you can finally choose your profession between psychologist or in human resources. Congratulations!

Job in your parent's restaurant.

After working all summer in your parent's restaurant, you made enough money to quit this job. While you were working in the restaurant, you made yourself a boyfriend who had a lot of ambition. Your boyfriend is currently at university and you would like to join him, but you would also like to go volunteering abroad to help people from other countries.

Job in the family farm.

After working all summer in the family's farm, you are tired of collecting animal excrement and you want to go back to school. You made enough money to come back to town and live in an apartment for the rest of your studies. You can go to two universities which are close to your apartment, UQAM or Concordia.

Choice 2 : You choose to go to Concordia University.

Take an all-inclusive trip to Cuba.

You finally decided to go alone on an all-inclusive trip. It's time to relax and drink lots of alcohol. After a week of having a lot of fun, it's time to go back home and you are now ready to go back to school. You hesitate between UQAM or Concordia University. No matter what you will choose, no one will know what have happened in Cuba. What happened in Cuba stays in Cuba!

You will never know what was going on because you have decided to do nothing. However, congratulations to have finished your internship.You can now have access to two fabulous professions, become a psychologist or working in human resources.

She was a victim of sexual harassment while she was working. The client was always saying unacceptable comments to her. He didn't stop despite the fact that she told him about her discomfort. The perpetrator was trying to deter her to give him her personal information. So, she called her boyfriend to come see her because she was scared. When her boyfriend arrived, the client calmed down and stopped flirting with her. The next day, she talked to her manager about the customer's misconduct. She's glad that nothing happened, but she is still afraid because this client is still allowed to enter the bar. You did an excellent job by letting her come into your office. Now that your internship is over, you can choose between two jobs, become a psychologist or manager of human resource.

Your first reaction was to go and see what was going on in the stairwell. Your supervisor finds you very courageous and fast for your intervention. You have still decided to finish your internship in prison despite this stressful event on your first day. After finishing this internship, we offer you two jobs, become a psychologist or manager of the human resource.
