My best friend was looking for a good first job. She saw that IGA was looking for employees, but she wasn't really sure to choose this job. Unfortunately, because of Christmas's rush of hiring and the purchases declining there are not many jobs offered after Christmas holidays. And Daphne needed money...

Choice 1 : IGA.

Choice 2 : Wait for another job opportunity.

It's just her imagination.

He has begun to ask my friend to go out, it was flirtation for him, and she said no, several times. But he was persistent, very persistent. Each time she had to go to her job, she was crying, dread and stressed out. " Maybe it's my fault". The guy was popular, and she was just the new girl. She was so scared of being rejected by the others.

She has been blaming herself since the beginning without thinking that it's the guy's fault. I clarified things with her : she did absolutely nothing to deserve it. The perpetrators think that ''no'' means ''yes''. I convinced her to make a choice between these two : leave her job or tell her boss. I said to her that she should report to not only stand up for her but for every other woman out there. She cried in my arms for an hour.

She talked to her boss during the day about the guy, but her boss responds that Daphne was telling her this too late because it has been five months since she started to work at IGA without saying something. A few days later, the guy was there again.

Daphne, my best friend, finally worked at IGA. She was sixteen years old, she was happy to finally have a job ! She was the youngest but her colleagues were very nice and patient with her, expect one person. A guy touched her at some inappropriate places, pretending he's misconduct was just accidents. She was telling herself that maybe she was crazy, and she was imagined things. The guy was loved by the other employees and by the boss. He was very popular, good-looking and kind to everyone. He wasn't a predator hiding in a dark street with some black clothes and a gun.

She waited for two months or more to find other jobs opportunities, like at McDonalds, Jean Coutu or Cinéma Guzzo.
