I have been studying Youth and Adult Correctional Intervention at Ahuntsic College for 2 years now. To have my diploma I need to do 3 years of College in my field and then I will be done with College. Like a lot of students, I am not sure if it is better for me to go to university after College or to begin working in my field of study and gain some experience.

Actually, I know that it's really hard to be admitted in Criminology at university because it is a contingent field. Also, even if I have very good grades and I made a lot of efforts at College, I am not sure if I am going to be accepted in Criminology. I would love to learn more and to have the chance to be in this program but maybe my grades are not enough good. I am not sure what I am supposed to do, try to submit a university registration request in Criminology or start working.

I am so happy, I am finally admitted in Criminology at the University of Montreal. In fact, I never thought I would be there one day because it is really hard to be accepted. I am so excited, and I am really proud of myself. I started this week, and the courses are really hard, and I have a lot of homework to do at home, sometimes I am really exhausted after school and I don't have energy to do my assignments. I know that I am really lucky to be here, but I am saying to myself that now that I am in the program I can relax and put my homework aside.

It's my first day in my new job, I am really happy about it, but I am also really stressed since it's a new environment. My first day at the Correctional Center is stressful, I will be a trainee for 1 week, and I am happy about it because I will have the chance to learn while working. In fact, I will learn a lot because of my OJT. After only one day, I learned the skills and the ins-and-outs of the job. My trainer is very nice with me, and he's really comprehensive that makes my day less stressful, but he began to be a little weird.

At this point, I decide to work with victims, so I am going to send some email to see if the HR are looking for employees. One week after sending emails, I receive an email telling me that accommodation houses for women were interested in hiring me. I was thinking about it and I became really stressed because these victims are really fragile. I need to decide if I try or if I lose my chance.

Every night I started to do my homework even if sometimes it can be maddening, I started to have straight A's because of my hard work, and I was really happy about it. I made to choice to stop procrastinating and to stop to putting aside my homework, and so I was the best in my class, and I was less stressed. I finally finished my program and I have my diploma, now I need to decide if I want to go work or to go all over the planet to do some volunteering abroad!

It's time to party, I am young and full of energy so it's time to enjoy my life. My grades are going down, and I am not doing so well, I am failing all of my courses. I think that I should stop school and live my life.

I started my internship in the accommodation house. I am really happy because it's a way to put a foot in the door and to learn the ropes of an institution. I am trying my best here to talk with the victims and to help them, but I don't think that the job is for me since it's a dark place and it makes me sad sometimes.

The agent tried to flirt with me at first and I told him that he was king but I didn't want more with him, I was trying to deter him but it didn't work because he didn't stop texting me some weird messages. Once I had enough with his behavior, so I told the HR of the Correctional Center, and they saw the boy to talk about the situation. After the meeting they had, the boy stopped texting me.
