Finishing my Cegep.

I am about to finish my CEGEP and I have to make a choice about what I want to do in my life. There are many things that interest me but I'm hesitating between two quite different careers. What should I do?

Choice 1 : Go to actuarial studies.

I decided to study actuarial science, but I don't know which school I want to go study at. I can go to the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM) or I can go to the University of Laval in Quebec (UL). If I choose to stay in Montreal, I won't have to pay for an apartment, so I could save money, but if I choose to go to UL I'll have to pay for an apartment. Also, if I choose to go at UL, I will be far from all of my friends and my family. Should I go to UQAM or UL.

I am in my second semester in actuarial science at UQAM and I found out that traveling between St-Jérôme and Montreal every day is very difficult. I waste a lot of time when I can be studying at home. What should I do?

I really like living in Montreal. I'm finishing my exams in a few days and I'm just going to work now. I have a job with a very good company. It was easy for me to get hired because I had straight A's in university. Now I've received an offer to work in a company located in Bermuda. What should I do?

I decided to stay in Montreal. It was a good choice because for the rest of my life, the company makes good deals, and I got a really great and stable salary. Big house, good cars, and a healthy family.

I decided to take a risk and chose to go to Bermuda. Unfortunately it was not a good idea because the company went bankrupt and I found myself unemployed in a country I barely knew.

I decided to stay in St-Jérôme and unfortunately I did not continue my studies. I couldn't do it, it was really difficult. I work at a Walmart, but one of my colleagues offered me a way to make more money. Should I follow him or should I stay in my job.

It was not a good idea. I started selling drugs to make more money, but I got caught by the police and now I have to spend 5 years of my life in prison.

I was tired of working at this job with a poor wage. So, I decided to go back to school. I could go in early childhood education or I could go to the university in actuarial science. What should I choose?

I didn't like living so far from my family, I asked for a university transfer. I decided to come back close to my friends and family. I don't know if I should live in St-Jérôme with my parents or in Montreal near the university.

This program is really nice. Now, I'm doing an internship in a daycare near my CEGEP. I really like doing on-the-job-training. I learn the rope and learn all the office politics which is fascinating. My internship finishes in a few days and the daycare where I'm working wants to hire me because I already have a foot in the door. Should I stay at this job or should I find a new one?

There's a vacant position, deputy director of the center. I would like to have it but the director of the daycare wants me to do him a favor. I don't know what it is. What should I do?

I should never have listened to what he said to me. I gave him what he wanted, but now I continue to experience sexual harassment. Should I go talk to the police or should I stay?

I should have gone to the police when the time was right. I am no longer happy at all. I have to see a psychologist 3 times a week.

It was the best decision of my life. I'm better now. My boss is in prison because I was not the only one who was persecuted like this. When they perform the background check on him, they notice multiple sexual harassment cases that were shut down for different suspicious reasons. I have two options now, I could take over his position or I could find a new job. What should I do?

The rest of my career has been superb. I have now retired, I see my grandchildren as often as possible. I love my life.

I went to Haiti to volunteer. I met the man of my life, after only 4 months we got married. I live in Haiti, and I work in an orphanage there.

I have traveled all over Europe and I'm now in Asia. I've tried al sorts of different meals. I met a man in France, and we continued writing letters. I would like to surprise him and go see him. What should I do?

I returned to France, and he was overwhelmed by my surprise. We got married a few years later. I have yet to return to Quebec but my family visits me at least two times a year.
