The beginning of a new semester.

It was August 2019, It was my first day of class at Montmorency College. I was a little bit nervous because I didn't know anybody at Montmorency or Laval for that matter. I looked at my school schedule and went looking for my class. It took me about 10 min to find my class since I never visited the place before in my life. When the class started, the teacher told me this was the wrong class, I showed her my schedule, and she explained to me that my class started in two hours actually and that I came early.

Choice 1 : Wait for two hours for my class to start.

Choice 2 : Skip class.

After I left the classroom, I decided to put aside my frustration and wait for my class to start. When I left the classroom, I realized that I wasn't the only one who came early. I spoke to a girl named ''Lucy'' who told me she thought the class started early just like me. We decided to talk to each other and socialize. When the class started, we sat at a desk next to each other and listened to the teacher explain the course. Before the class ended the teacher assigned us homework to complete for next class. Lucy asked me if I wanted to come to the library to complete it with her. I'm wondering what I should do.

Choice 1 : Go to the Library with her.

Choice 2 : Tell her I have other plan and go back home.

Skip class.

I decided that I had better things to do than wait for two hours. I left the school, smoked a cigarette and went to the subway to head home. It was gonna be a long year. A week later, I returned to the same class and sat in the classroom. The teacher asked the class to give back the homework he assigned us last week. I told the teacher I didn't know about the homework since I wasn't there. The teacher told me that he didn't care and that I was going to get a zero mark anyway.

I told myself that It would come in handy to have classmate close to me for help in my program plus she was kind of hot. I told her that I was down but I needed to go to the bathroom first. While I was washing my hand, some random guy approached me near the sink. He asked if I wanted to buy ''Subway'' gift-card for half the price from home. I acted like I didn't hear what he just said and left the bathroom. I went to the library with Lucy and I took a vacant table to work. While we were working on the assignment, Lucy told me about the summer job she occupied in the past. I told her about my dead-end job at the pizza shack near my job, she told about her job at the YMCA center in Montreal. She asked me if I was doing anything later tonight. I had already something planned out with my friend, but I was tempted to go else where.

Choice 1 : Go out with my friend like I already planned.

Choice 2 : Go with her.

Tell her I have other plan and go back home.

I was kind tired of my day as a whole and I wasn't in the mood to do homework. I told Lucy I had others thing already planned out. She told me she understood but looked a little bit disappointed. I grabbed my back pack and headed for the subway. My friend Thomas called me to join him with his friend at a local pub in downtown Montreal. To make a long story short, I got really drunk and totally forgot about my homework.

I was really mad by the teacher response since it wasn't my fault if I didn't know about the homework. I told her that what I really thought, she didn't seem to have appreciated it. She told me I was expelled from class and to never come back. Well, that was already a failed class.

I was thoroughly surprised by that answer but decided It was better to set aside my frustration. I took a seat and started listening to the class. I was disappointed to have a zero mark but at the same time, I told myself it wasn't the end of the world.

I told Lucy that I had already planned out other stuff for the evening. She looked a little bit disappointed but told me it was nice getting to know me a bit more. I felt a little flirtation vibe but didn't try to think too much of it. A headed for the subway station and sat in the subway wondering what the future was gonna reserve for me. I joined my friend at the local pub we always go to. When I arrived my friends were already drunk and wanted me to be on the same level as them. They handed me 6 shot of vodka, I already knew this night was not going to be pretty.

I asked her what she had in my mind for plan for tonight. She asked me where I wanted to go. I asked if she wanted to go eat somewhere, she agreed. We went to this pizza place and talked about on-the-job-training for our future internship. She told me about how bad she was in job interview and how her last wouldn't give premium wage when she was doing overtime at night. She told me how she hated working in an office in the summer because she didn't have the drive of work to be passionate about her work while working there.

Choice 2 : Go join my friend at the bar.

Couple of month later, Lucy and I have an internship at an office for land evaluation. I complete my on-the-job-training with ease, the company I work for really liked my job performance. My paying wage is $17 an hour which is pretty good for an intern who just started working there. Since I have good time management, I'm never overwhelmed by the task my boss gives me. Near the end of my shift, Lucy ask me If I want to go grab a bite with her.

Choice 1 : Go eat with her.

Choice 2 : Tell her you're really tired and go back home.

Go join my friend at the bar.

I had a nice evening with Lucy but I decided I still have energy to join my friend. I go in the subway in direction for Montreal. I stop at the down town station and walk on Saint-Catherine Street to head to the bar. When I arrive at the bar, I see that there seem to be some rumble in the building. When I enter the place, I see my friends in a serious bar fight, I'm really wondering what should I do.

I agreed at Lucy proposition and we left work together. We went to a Chinese spot near work and talked about our day. When we left we went out for a walk. I asked Lucy if she wanted to go out with me. She laughed and said she was into girls. I feel like I should have known that by now and felt kinda dumb.
