My work ethic.

My name is Lara Pannitti. This hypertext starts during my first year at Montmorency College. I need to choose how I will use my time now that I am a full time student. I have to to decide if I should focus on my school work by studying a lot, or if I should demand to work more hours at my part-time-job.

All of my hard work at school has finally come in handy. I graduated from college as a straight A's student. I am so talented that the HEC university, one of the best Business schools in Montreal, gave me a scholarship. One of the biggest Business company also heard of me, and they offered me a job. I need to decide which of these two offers I should accept.

During my first week at HEC Montreal, I had a conference about the different programs of the university. The one that caught my eye was the Study abroad program. In fact, I would be able to do one of my school semesters in another country.

I am so happy in this new job! Even though I am new here, I still make premium wage. For the first time in my life, I can say that I am rich! I have so much money and I don't know what to do with it.

I am in Rome, Italy! I love studying here. I want to find something to do during my free time here. One of the locals gave me a flyer for a cooking class. I don't know if I want to test drive cooking or if I want to try every restaurant in this city.

I have nothing to do and I am bored. I found out that there is a vacant position in an extracurricular group at my University. I take my chance and apply.

I am back in Montreal and I am obese. I shouldn't have eaten all of this pasta in Italy. Just going to the bathroom is an exercise for me. My next door neighbour is a producer for the television show called "The Biggest Loser" and he offered me a place on the show as a contestant.

I take cooking classes.

Taking these classes made me realise that I have a passion for cooking. Nothing makes me feel better than making a perfect Tiramisu. My dream is to become a chef but I don't know if I have the courage.

The Show was the best thing that could ever happen to me. I lost all of my extra weight and became famous. I am living in Hollywood and my next door neighbor is Oprah. I exercise every day and I have my very own Morning show.

I am now too fat to do anything. I can't get up and I need someone constantly with me to help me do my every day chores. My life has no purpose. I am a prisoner of my own house.

Taking risks paid off! I opened my very own restaurant in the old port of Montreal! I am a renowned chef. Movie stars come to Montreal just to taste my cuisine! I am best friends with Gordon Ramsay. Every two weekends, I fly to New York with my private plane to meet him at his restaurant.I love my life.

I am forty years old, and I am working in a dead-end job. My life has no meaning. I have trouble getting up in the morning because I am not doing anything to make the world a better place. I lost my determination. I am depressed and lonely.

The rest of my year at the HEC university was pretty boring. I had nothing to make me fell accomplished and I didn't feel like I had my place there. I never graduated from university. I am now working as a manager at my local McDonald restaurant.

Because of me, we didn't win the tournament. I got kicked off of the team and cried for weeks. I fell useless and have no friends.

Because we won the tournament, everyone in our team got an internship. As an intern, I learned the ins-and-outs of finance. That on-the-job training really helped my career. I am currently one the biggest businesswomen in Canada. I make more than a million dollars every year.

It has now been three years since I have been working for this company. My bank account is full. I don't know what to do with all of this money.

I went all out and bought myself the brand-new Ferrari. I am rolling in the city like there is no tomorrow. I check my bank account to see if I could afford another Ferrari, and I find out that I have a huge dept. I don't know how I would solve this important money issue.

At the end of my trip, I met a guy named Nicolas in France. It was love at first sight. I spent the rest of my month with him. We went up the Eiffel tower, and we saw the Mona Lisa at the Louvre Museum. Should I stay with my one true love or go back home?

I am now 85 years old, and I am still saving my money. Like they say, "once a money saver, always a money saver".I haven't done anything interesting of my life. I am now too old to do something adventurous. I have wasted my life.

Because I don't want to work extra shifts, I decided that I was going to gamble all of the money that I have. I am going to let faith decide my destiny by playing roulette. Now I have to choose the color that I am going to bet my money on.

When I arrive at the club where the party is taking place, I realise that everyone is drinking. The alcohol here is very expensive, but I don't care!

I drank a little too much alcohol and I got in trouble with some criminals. Now if I don't do as they say, my life could be in danger.

Thanks to the police officers, I got out of trouble. The criminals that were threatening me are now long gone in prison. While I was working with the police, I discovered that I liked the job of a police officer. The next day, I decided to apply to the police academy.

I am now graduated from the police academy. I love the job because everyday is different. Because of my good work, I just got promoted to detective. I am so happy with my life.

Since I couldn't do my dream job, I decided to quit school because it was no longer useful for me. I am now 40 years old, and I am living in my parents basement. I can't keep a job for more than 6 months. I am a loser.
