A year without nothing.

You have been doing nothing for a year and you are now working at IGA full time. You became a manager not long ago. You have a lot of money.

You have done a wonderful C.V. and are call for the process for the school. You know there are a lot of physical test and you believe you're O.K. for them. There is also a writing test to test your knowledge and an interview.

CEGEP here I come.

You enter in ''CEGEP'', and you start your session doing science. You realize you like it a bit, but you feel like something is missing in you. You gave up some of your classes but keep great notes in your bases courses because you know they could be useful in the future. Finally, after a long year of school, you decide to apply at the IPIQ school to realize your dream.

You became poor.

Seeing all this money, you've started to spend it on useful stuff and you are covered by debt. You can't pay the rent for your housing and you are kick out of your apartment and for forgetting you start drinking, drinking a lot and you lose your job. You spent the rest of your life living in the street. One day, you were found dead in a street near your old job...

You are now at the end of your one year off the school, you have money in your savings and you are living very well with your girlfriend that is working as well at the IGA. You decide to...?

Choice 1 : You like your job, you stay working.

Choice 2 : You applied to CEGEP

You start giving OJT to the trainee. Your wage is starting to grow so is your rank in the store. You are showing the ins-and-outs of the job and you are now very important in the store where you are employed so you stay over there for the rest of your life and retired at the age of 75 years old. You have lived a quiet and peaceful life.

Preparing for the year.

You have been working hard for the last few months and pass the tests easily. You are starting your training and learning a bit more every day. Seeing all of the work you've accomplished to be there it is easy for you to past every test you are confronted. Just like High school you are keeping those straight A's. One day, the boys of your class decide to go at a party the evening of a supposed ''easy'' exam.

You see every body on social media having fun and partying, you feel a bit sad for not going but you keep studying in case of something happening to the exam tomorrow. You go to bed early and wake-up early in the morning to go to the gym. When you're doing your exam, everything go as plan and you're very confident about your grade. You keep working hard for the rest of the years and you make it to the internship.

You have hell of a night. There is a lot of alcohol and drugs. You decide to abuse of them in the evening and party all night long. It's now time to go back home. You have your car over there but don't think your able to drive. You're at only 10 minutes of your house. What are you doing?

Knowing the risk of taking your car in the situation that you are right now is completely irresponsible you decide to call a 0.08, and they bring you and your car back home you feel good about the choice you made. You went for a nap and wake-up late. You just able to reach school to do the exam. Unfortunately, it's not as easy as it was supposed to and you fail. In addition, the direction decide to test you for drug and realized you've consumed not long ago and you're thrown out off the school right away.

CRASHED.

Unfortunately for you, you decided to take your car thinking you absolutely need it to go to school in the morning tomorrow. You were driving and being extremely careful but at some point you were distracted by a flash light just behind you. You couldn't get arrest while drunk driving so you step on the gas pedal and try to lose them. When you thought you lost them, someone steps out on the road and you hit them. The police arrive few second after and you were arrested.

The big city.

You're finally ready to start your internship. You can't wait to do test drive your dream job. You have learned the ropes all year long and you can finally come in handy to the city. In addition, you're able to get a foot in the job by showing your hard work all. Even if the firemen in the fire station know you're only an intern, they are acting like you are one of the gangs and you like it very much. You get your first call, get your bunker up as fast as you can and jump in the fire truck. The ride is thrilling and your crew makes you feel comfortable.

End of your DEP.

After a year long of hard work and none stop learning you get your DEP and you're ready to start working. The only problem is that to work in Montreal city, you have to get a DEC in fire safety. For it you have to do another 2 years of school in ''CEGEP'', and you have to pass all the tests you had past last where. However, you could get a job in a smaller city right now. You don't know what to choose.

Smaller city but longer career.

It's been 7 years since you've start working in Bois-Des-Filions as a firefighter, and you have got a lot of call, you live a part of your dream by being a firefighter but feel a little bit sad of not being at the big city but you're O.K. You have already a house and a wife, you live very well and you're happy after all.

Keep on dreaming!

After this difficult choice, you apply to the DEC and start your two years process, It's very long because you can't wait to start working, but you are following your dream to work in Montreal city and doing all the step you have to do. Half way in the DEC there is the opportunity you were waiting for ''CanadAfirque'', an association that is stopping this dead-end. You realize this opportunity is invaluable and one of your purposes. Volunteering abroad and teaching firemen from another country. You have to make a choice.

Retirement.

After you have spent your life paying your mortgage and you've cleared it all. You feel ready to take your pension. You know the drive of work will miss you but the drudgery is starting to feel intense. You've put aside some of your dreams to realize them after your retirement. You are finally ready to accomplish them.

After thinking about it, you decide to go to Africa to teach the firefighters. You developed so many skills and even if there is any premium wages associated with this opportunity, you feel upgrade as a person and as a firefighter. You can't wait to go back and tell to all of your coworkers at school what you have seen and learn in this volunteering.

After thinking a lot about it, you decide to stay home and focus on school. You have found a little part-time job in a small city where you develop as a firefighter and you feel very good. When you see your friends coming back from Africa, you tell them about your summer, and they're amazed. They tell you about theirs as well and it feels so fun over their. You also have done some summer school to advance in your DEC a little to get your futures session lighters.

This is the last straight line, You're finally seeing the end of this long trip. You are graduating. You are now able to apply in big city such as Montreal. You can now stop school and start your life. Your adult life.

Because you know you can wait for a long time to get your dream job, you apply to university to be sure to have something to do and keep updated in your learning. You have done 2 years of continued work-out to keep you in shape and you're finally being call for the test at Montreal city. Your dream is finally getting realized and you deserved it.

You're one of the lucky ones. You keep track on your work-outs and you're ready to pass the exams. You made it. You are starting your career. It's been a long way but you knew it would be awesome.

Unfortunately for you, you had taken a break in your work-out and you started loosing your physical condition. When you're call to pass the tests, you fail. You are devastated and you gave-up. It had now been 30 years you're in the job and it is time to let your place to new rookies. You feel the drudgery and all your sets asides are calling you. You know the drive of work will miss you but you can't keep up with the job and your pension is tempting you. Your family is waiting for your decision at the house.

One day, you get a routine call and you missed some of the basic signs of a deadly fire. You decide to enter the building and it's collapsed few seconds after it. You were killed in this intervention so is 3 members of your crew. Your family is devastated.

Believing in yourself is a part of success, but you need to work out as well. You arrived at the process and you were not as ready as you thought. You barely make it and have a pretty tough year. Halfway in the year the pressure is too much so you decide to give up school and go in another field of study. Nobody would like something like this ! Start again and work harder.
