I remember when I was young I was so excited to work. I didn't realize how important and drudgery my job was going to be. I worked so hard to set aside some money to be able to live a good life when I retire. You know, I had a normal life. I had a husband, four children, a hobby and the drive of work. Nevertheless, I did have one thing, poverty. I had a heavy mortgage and a load of debts. My boss delivered me from these even though it cost my life. I became a Diagnostic Imaging technologist after a lot of challenges. What was my first challenge?
Choice 1 : I was sexually assaulted.
Choice 2 : I got sucked up in office politics.

I always wanted to become a Diagnostic Imaging technologist, but the tuition is really expensive. Therefore, I looked for a job. When I applied for my first job, I already felt uncomfortable with the boss. I thought that he was checking me out and that he was flirting but I did not give it another thought since he was my boss, and he was married. I told myself that I was probably making it up, and that the job pays well. Furthermore, I really needed a job, so it's not like I could refuse because I was uncomfortable. The nightmare really started in my second week of work. My boss was really flirting with me therefore I dreaded coming to work because of him. I couldn't get home at a reasonable time because he overloaded me with work, and he was staying with me all the time. He never touched any private parts, so I thought I couldn't call it sexual harassment. He only touched my shoulders and thighs a couple of times. One day, he threatened me to do a blow job or else I would lose my job. I didn't want, so he beat me up, and forced himself through me. Now that I had evidence, I went to the police, and they told me that the perpetrator will be in jail for rape.I didn't quit the job, since it paid well, and he wasn't there anymore. I thought I could keep this job during my studies but, of course, everyone knew about this story.
Choice 1 : The gossips.
Choice 2 : Another job.
My colleagues never really liked me from the beginning since I was doing my job better than them. I got sucked up in office politics because we received a commission each time we sold a high-end cream. At first, I was very polite towards my colleagues as I was a new employee but just after a week they were already gossiping and undermining me because I was selling more than them. It is not my fault if I have better communications skills than them! After everything happened with the last boss, things worsened as getting raped was not bad enough. They started hindering my job by withholding information and more often than not they tried to steal my customers. I will never ever get a job where commissions are given again even if it pays more. I really hate competitions.
Choice 1 : Another job.
I quit and found another job. I started my OJT with my colleague in a printing factory and the trainer told us all the ins-and-outs of the job that he could tell. I even lost the count. The drawback of learning from an older co-worker was that it wasn’t always what the boss wanted. He yelled at me because I did not do the job carefully and I missed some important details of the job such as checking the right company names of each paper even for a thousand. The thing was that my colleague did not want me there and therefore told me false shortcuts for checking papers.
Choice 1 : A new opportunity.
I got tired of my dead-end job. Sadly, I wasn't welcomed there, and I didn't find any purpose in a job that gave me invaluable experience for my future. Therefore, I left my job and volunteered for teaching English in Japan. I thought it would give a purpose to my life. After some in-depth research, I found that it was even more than just that. I would get so many more opportunities at other jobs, I could even get premium wages and it would be an invaluable experience that I could never get anywhere else. Teaching in Japan taught me so much about a new culture and gave me more knowledge for my next job.
Choice 1 : What's next?
For the summer break, I did an internship during that could come in handy with my dream job by giving me a foot in the door. It was very overwhelming at first but when I started to learn the ropes, I was able to enjoy it. I was very lucky that I could test drive my future workplace and see if it fitted me. After my internship, I learned that I will love my job for which I'm studying for and it did motivate me even more. The only thing that I didn't like about it was that I wasn't paid and it would have been really helpful since I didn't have any wages during that time which was a good three months.
Choice 1 : End of school.
My last year of school was an internship at a hospital. I was there to practice what I learned at school and to do the job as a Diagnostic Imaging technologist under the supervision of a worker. He evaluated me and told me that I passed.
Choice 1 : My dream come true.
After the internship, I had to pass the national exam. I was really anxious about it since I needed it to be able to work. Furthermore, the exam cost about a thousand dollars, so I cannot fail it. It was really difficult, and I was actually scared to fail even though I was one of the best in my class. The results were finally out, and I passed! I was so happy. All my hard work was worth it. I was a proud Diagnostic Imaging technologist.
Choice 1 : My life.
I got a job where I did my internship with school. Everyone was friendly and kind. I met my husband to be there. We got married only after a few months. We both knew we were right for each other the minute we saw each other therefore we couldn't wait. My pregnancy was unexpected, and even more with quadruplets. Nevertheless, we were extremely happy, and for that reason we moved to a bigger house and planned everything.
Choice 1 : Problems.
All things considered, we didn't have that much money left. We tried to save the best we could, but it wasn't enough. We had even less money when the quadruplets were born because I asked for a maternity leave. Since I knew my boss was rich, I asked him if he could lend me some money. He accepted, but with one condition. I had to pay him back one way or another.
Choice 1 : I chose to pay him back with money.
Choice 2 : I chose to pay him back another way.
My life was not that simple. I was not able to save enough money. My boss understood that I was not going to pay him back. What did he do?
Choice 1 : He was kind.
Choice 2 : He wasn't happy.
He did not tell me what another way meant, so I came back to work earlier, and I did everything he asked me. It was still not enough. Therefore, I asked him. He told me that I could resign my job as a Diagnostic Imaging technologist, and accept another full time job that he could offer me. I didn't want to, so he told me to meet at his place in the evening so that I could learn more about the other job. I went there, and we did some small talk for a bit. After, he showed me his basement. The house was cute, but the basement was something else. It was like he killed someone in there. When I turned around to tell him I was uncomfortable, he was already stabbing me with an ax. The last thing I could hear was “ I will give your family money, you did a good job”.
Choice 1 : A new beginning?
My colleagues never really liked me from the beginning since I was doing my job better than them. I got sucked up in office politics because we received a commission each time we sold a high-end cream. At first, I was very polite towards my colleagues as I was a new employee but just after a week, they were already gossiping and undermining me because I was selling more than them. I will never ever get a job where commissions are given again even if it pays more. I really hate competitions.
Choice 1 : I quit.
Choice 2 : I kept the job.
Choice 1 : The ending.
I kept the job even tough my co-workers hated me because it paid well, and it was easy to save for my tuition. After all those years, I was able to graduate and I found a job as a Diagnostic Imaging technologist at a hospital. Everything went well until a patient decided to pursue me because of lack of professionalism and empathy. After that, I had a lot of debts and I couldn't pay for anything. My boss saved me because he paid my debts but I didn't know that it meant that I had to sacrifice myself instead of him. He was a compulsive gambler. The money he used to pay my debts was from the first time he won a big amount of money. The money he won just made him gambler even more, and that made him loose all his money and belongings. That was still not enough, he had to give up his life. Of course, he said that I should sacrifice myself instead of him since I would have been dead anyway if he didn't pay my debts. It was true so I did as he asked. I was going do end up dead anyway, so the least I could do was to give my family money.
Choice 1 : A new beginning?
I kept the job even tough my co-workers hated me because it paid well, and it was easy to save for my tuition. After all those years, I was able to graduate and I found a job as a Diagnostic Imaging technologist at a hospital Some time passed, and I got married. Everything went well until a patient decided to pursue me because of lack of professionalism and empathy. After that, I had a lot of debts and I couldn't pay for anything.
Choice 1 : I decided to ask for help.
My life could have been different if I made different choices.
Choice 1 : The beginning.
He wasn't a kind person. He knew from the beginning that I would not be able to pay him back. He decided to kidnap me, torture me and kill me. He saved my life, the life of my family, but I was killed by those same hands.
Choice 1 : A new beginning?
My boss absolutely wanted his money back. He gave me a choice. Either he would kill me or I had to beg him. If I could not pay him back with money, I had to beg for pardon. I guessed it was just some sort of fetish that he had, but little did I knew.
Choice 1 : I guessed wrong.
I was so wrong regarding him. It was not a fetish, but an illness. He wanted me to beg him only that he could kill me while I was on my knee.
Choice 1 : A new beginning?
I knew my boss was rich, so I asked him for money. He accepted, but with one condition. I had to kill his wife. Why? I didn't know, but I knew that, from that instant, if I did not accept, it would have been me that would have died. Later that day, I went to my boss's house to fulfill my condition. I was flabbergasted to have found her already dead, my boss on her, smiling to me. He was amazed by my reaction. I was so scared that I tried to run, in vain. He grabbed me, and forced me to look at his wife. Then, he turned my head so that I could look at him saying to me that he was so excited to kill me the same way.
Choice 1 : A new beginning?
