My Adventure In Insurance And Advising

Start Here.

This year, I try to do well at school and to pull off straight A's in every class. In order to accomplish my objectives, I am going to study alone. It will help me not to be disturbed. I will apply time management to be sure I will have time to do all my homework. I will put aside my cellphone every time I'm studying to help me to be more productive. However, I need to be thoughtful in class and listen to what the teacher is saying. Every time I study with my friends I do cursory work.

First on the job training.

I did my first job training one year ago. It wasn't very hard to learn and not that boring. Sometime to learn more about my job I had to do work on a computer it was a little challenging for me because I am very bad with computers. In the end, it was a benefit for me because I learned new things and those things, I learned will help me in the future. While the OJT I learned a lot about the ins-and-outs of the job.

What I didn't like about the OJT is that the older employees were not helpful with me. They acted like I was supposed to know everything, and it was annoying.

Choice 1 : Act like it doesn't bother me.

At the end of the day, it was still a good experience for myself to take a good step in my career.

I started to look for a real job. My first job was taking phone calls as claim representative and help clients with their questions or issues. I did this job for about 2 months and I didn’t like the job.

Next job.

So, I decide to look out for a new job. It took me like a month to find another one. It was at Intact Assurance. My job was to calculate a client salary and make him do gains with it. After three months I realized that I was not able to put on work what I learned in the last couple of weeks, and it was a stressing situation. Choice 1 : back

The job.

Work should not undermine you. When you go to work, you should feel good. At work, your main goal is to be focus on what your boss wants you to make you should not get sucked up in gossiping. You should not be hindered by a toxic environment at work. If, you are stressed more often than habitually you should ask yourself if you have a collegial environment. Stress can make you have bad habits at work and make you look not competent in front of your boss. So, I think at work you should have a feeling of membership.

Years pasted, my company raised in the top 20 richest in Canada. Sophie tells me that I should get retired. Retirement... a word that I have heard since I was little. My parents always used to tell me that they can't wait until they retired. Retirement is the moment when the drive of work stops, and I finally got to have my pension. I asked my mom what pension means, and she told me that it is when you set aside money so you can use it when you get old, but she didn’t put much money on the side for herself. When that time will come, I would have finished paying my mortgage. I do get why my parents want to get retired.
