Good choice, Ahuntsic College is one of the best rated college for Police Technology. Now, after your 3 years of study, you finish with one of the best grades. So, you go at the ENPQ really quickly and again, you finish with an excellent grade. Because you got no deter, it was easy to pay the $10 000 for the formation. Obviously, you're excited to apply in some Police organization. Where you will go? A municipal service or SQ?

Nice, you choose Maisonneuve College. This college is a wonderful school for Police Technology. Sadly, you realize that the program is too hard and intense for you because you are not able to deal with nine classes by week. You realize that you need to have some fun with your friends before starting some new studies. Because you have done your basic courses, you try Social Science to be able to go at University.

John Abbott College.

John Abbott College is a beautiful choice because it's a bilingual college. It's the perfect college to deal with the reality of Montreal. In Montreal, you need to speak well in English because so many people don't understand French. So, in this school, you will learn English faster than the other college. On the other hand, you got some difficulty in English and you got some difficulty passing your evaluations when you need to write or speak in the language. Because of that, you are not able passing some courses and you see your grades dropped. In this course, you decide to leave the program and try to work with your father in the real estate. It was your plan B since you are young.

University.

While you are doing Social Science at Maisonneuve College, you try, nevertheless, to enter Cadet police officer for SPVM. Montreal Police organization offer this job to student in Police Technology or to people interested to Police officer job. It's an on-the-job-training with a wage. In this course, you are accepted and you realize, in your summer with this organization, that you really like the job. So, you got the excellent idea to try Criminology program at University. You realize that it's another way to enter some Police organization. After a few years of studying, you apply at SPVM for a job in this Police organization. They offer you two choices. The first one is to become a patrol officer and the second one is to go work in some office without being a Police officer.

Choice 2 : Work at an office for SPVM.

Real estate.

You have done some volunteering because you was like the trainee of you father. In this internship, you learn the job thoroughly. Now, you are able to work with you father and you have your licenses to practice this job. You have a great life and you love your job though you are not a Police officer as your childhood dream wanted.

Municipal service.

You choose municipal service! The first organization who need you is SPVM. This municipal service is the biggest in Quebec. They engage many employees every year. After your meeting with them, they like your personality and your professionalism. You start to work in Montreal and you realize that varied population is really not for you. In this case, during an intervention, you make a big mistake, and you are obligated to face the Police ethics. You, finally, lost your job because of this mistake in connection with an immigrant citizen.

SQ.

SQ! After ENPQ your goal was to enter this organization. You had a meeting with them and you had waiting for the answer while almost one year. You finally got the job and you start to patrol on the highways of Laval. One day, you receive a call from the studio and it was a pursuit. You find the vehicle and you engage the pursuit. The driver of the vehicle was really dangerous but it was your job to arrest him. While you take your micro, your eyes was not on the road for two seconds but at your speed, it's not a good idea. Sadly, you got a collision with another vehicle and this driver lost his life in this tragic accident. You are really affected by the situation and you decide to take a long break because of your post-traumatic stress.

Choice 1 : Taking time for yourself

Patrol officer.

You become a patrol officer for organization of Montreal and you are in love with your job. In the first three months, you patrol with an experienced officer who knows very well the direction of the organization. After this three months of training, you stay with the same partner and after some years of working, this partner becomes one of your best friends. Obviously, it's the person that you see the most in your life. Your partner like how you work, and he decides to try to talk with a member of the direction for you because he knows that you have some Criminology studies. He also knows that you, obviously, want to go up in the organization for the wage and the job as well. On the other hand, the direction said that if you want to go up, you need to pass where everyone pass. So, you register at the competition and you finish with the best grade. Finally, you never finish your Police technology program and you are, right now, a detective sergeant to homicides. It still really impressive as a life course!

Work at an office for SPVM.

You start working for this organization and you like the job as well. You don't want another job because of your age. You have a good wage and fantastic benefits and working conditions. On the other hand, you don't want to go up in the organization or become a patrol officer because your family is more important and your job that you have right now is safer. After 20 years with the organization, you are able to retire yourself.
