My New Life.

I just finished my study in Police Technology after those three years. I learn a lot and now that I'm done with the ENPQ, I have two option to start my police career since I had very good grades.

Choice 1 : Police of Laval.

Choice 2 : My First day in the SPVM.

Choice 3 : K9 units.

Police of Laval.

I grew up in Laval, so it's feel good to work in a place that I know well. Since I'm a trainee, they pair me with a police officer with a lot of experience to show me some tips and to help me learn more about what to do and how to fill police reports. During our patrol, we see a guy doing a hold up in a Couche-Tard And my superior gives me two choices.

Choice 1 : Chase the suspect.

Choice 2 : Get help from another car

Chase the suspect.

Since I'm a fresh policeman and in top shape, I decide to run to get close to the suspect and try to catch him. I chase him alleys until he's facing in a dead end. He turns around and put his hand in his pocket. He takes out a gun and point it at me. I have two choices, but I have to decide very quickly.

Choice 1 : Shoot before getting shot

Choice 2 : Run as fast as I can

Shoot the suspect.

I have to make a move quick, so I decide to take my gun out and shoot the suspect before he decides to shoot me. The suspect falls down. I decide to call and ambulance and fortunately, the suspect is feeling fine and everything ends up good.

I Decide to run Away.

I never saw that kind of situation while I was doing on-the-job-training. Since the suspect point a gun in me, I have a chose to make very quickly, so I decide to run away as fast as I can. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time and the suspect shoot me in the back. I end up at the hospital, and after 3 hours, the doctor declare me deceased.

My First day in the SPVM.

This is my first day working in the SPVM in Montreal, During my first day, we got a call from other policemen to help them with a raping situation in an abandoned house. When we get there, 10 people where in the building with baseball bat and one woman was in the back room alone. We are four and when need to act quick. What do we do?

Choice 1 : Get more back-up.

Choice 2 : Control the Situation.

Get more back-up.

Since we are only four, we decide to call for more back-up to help us with the situation and to make sure no one is hurt. We arrest everyone that was in the building, and we help the victim that was in the back. We bring her to the hospital and make sure she's feeling safe and good.

Control the Situation.

We decide to try to control the situation even though we are only four, but they resist us with violence, and we decide to use our pepper spray, but since I was in the middle of everyone, I receive pepper spray in my eye. The suspect profit of the situation to hit me with a baseball bat, and that is the only thing that I remember from my first day working in Montreal.

Get the Directions.

I decide to tell the direction that the suspect is taking so other police car could get in position and be ready to arrest the suspect, so I don't have to chase him and risk my life for it. The other car follows my direction and arrest to suspect, and they make sure that accusation will be charge.

After a couple of months training with my dog, we get our first call on a drug situation where the police officer know there are drugs, but can't find it. There are two rooms where I can check with my dog. I have the bathroom or the bedroom.

Check the bedroom.

I bring my dog in the bedroom to find any drugs that we can use as evidence to make sure the suspect and up in prison. My dog smell the bed, then the bed side table, and he sits. I check the drawer and I found a little pack of cocaine. That is enough evidence to put handcuff on the suspect.

Check the bathroom.

I open the door to let my dog search and the second he goes in, he gets caught in a bear trap. I try to get him out of it, but the trap is just to strong. After a couple of minutes trying to free my dog, he just lost consciousness and die in my arm.
