After what seems to be an eternity, I finally graduated from High School. These 5 years haven't been the greatest, despite meeting my friends and many other genuine people. I'm more ready than ever to decide which college I go to and which field of study I want to pursue. Since I'm only 16 years old, I find it really difficult to make such a big decision at such a young age. I'm gravitating towards becoming a Police Officer or a Paramedic...
Choice 1 : Police Technology.
Choice 2 : Pre-hospital Emergency Care.

After thinking about it for a while, I decide to apply in Police Technology at Ahuntsic College, which is the only College that I want to go to. After waiting for my appliance letter to see whether I got accepted or not, I finally received it. Excited, I open the letter, only to find out that I was refused in the program as my average grades in High School didn't meet the requirement of the program, which is 85%.
Choice 1 : The big decision.
After thinking about it for a while, I decide to apply in the Pre-hospital Emergency Care program at Ahuntsic College since I want to save lives and help others in the future. After sending my appliance, I have to wait a little while before knowing if I got accepted or not in the program. After waiting for a little over 3 months I finally received my letter of confirmation. Upon reading, it I find out that I got accepted in the program, after meeting all the requirements for it.
Choice 1 : First year of College.
I'm finally here...I made it to Ahuntsic College ! So far, I really love the ambiance, my classes are really entertaining so are my teachers who are also really passionate about their subject and I'm doing well with my grades. Midway trough the session, the people of my program, decide to throw a party at someone's house and I'm confused as to if I should go or not.
Choice 1 : Go to the party.
Choice 2 : Stay at home to study.
Since I'm not doing so bad with my grades, I decide to go to the party, as I think it could be an amazing opportunity to meet new peoples and have a little fun as the midterm is approaching. The night of the party, I meet a girl that I really like and after talking for a while, we decide to exchange our numbers to keep in contact. After going out on a couple of dates, we decide to make our relationship official.
Choice 1 : Midterm.
After thinking about it, I decide to stay at home to study and make some progress for my midterm assignments as it is the right thing to do in my mind. The day after, I kinda regret my decision of not going to the party, because it would've been an excellent opportunity to meet new peoples and have some fun before the midterm. On the bright side, I made a lot of progress in my study and my assignments.
Choice 1 : Midterm.
It's finally the midterm and I'm ready to give my assignments back to my teachers and to do my exams, but since I went to this party instead of staying at home to study, my midterm exams don't really go to well and I fail one of them as I didn't really study that much for it, which means that I'm going to have to make more efforts to pass this class.
Choice 1 : Last stretch of the session.
It's finally here the midterm, and I'm ready to give back my assignments to my teachers and to do my exams. Since I didn't go to this party and instead chose to stay at home to study, I get straight a's on my assignments and on my exams, which means that I can be at peace for the rest of the session.
Choice 1 : Last stretch of the session.
After months of hard work, it's finally the end of the session and I'm so ready for the Christmas break, but there's still the finals which are approaching really fast, but I'm ready to finish my first session in Pre-hospital Emergency Care in beauty.
Choice 1 : End of the session (party)
Choice 2 : End of the session (Stay at home to study)
After failing a really important exam after going to the party during midterm, I worked really hard to make I sure I don't fail a single class, which resulted in me not being able to do a lot of things aside from studying for the rest of the session. After doing all of my finals, I receive excellent grades, but at the cost of doing other things with my friends and my girlfriend. But anyway, now that I'm on Christmas Break, I can relax and do some catch-up with my friends, family and my girlfriend.
Choice 1 : Graduation.
After getting straight a's for my midterm exams and assignments, I still continued to study to make sure I get excellent grades for every single one of my classes. After doing all of my finals, I receive amazing grades and now I'm more ready than ever to go to Christmas break to take a pause from school.
Choice 1 : Graduation.
After 3 years of college, of Highs and lows, I finally graduated from Ahuntsic College as a Pre-hospital Emergency Care student. Now that I'm finally able to become a Paramedic, I decide to send my resume to ''Urgences-Santé'', since it's the company that I want to work for.
Choice 1 : First job.
After going at my interview, I waited about a week to receive a call from ''Urgences-Santé'' to congratulate me on becoming a Paramedic for their company.
Choice 1 : First day on the job.
During my first day as a Paramedic for ''Urgences-Santé'', me and my colleague went on a total of 6 calls during our 12 hours shift. One of them in particular, was really complicated. We got called for an unconscious man at a residence. When we arrived at the site, we started doing our procedures, such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation). After doing so for about 10 minutes, we finally brought back the patient and got him in the ambulance and proceeded to get him to the nearest hospital as quick as possible.
Choice 1 : Arriving at the hospital.
Upon our arrival at the hospital, we get the patient to the emergency room to tell the situation to the nurse, so she could report it to the doctors. She proceeds to ask me and my partner what is the patient's problem, to which we reply that he was unconscious and that we brought him back, but we're unsure what caused it. We're hesitating between an anaphylactic shock or a heart attack.
Choice 1 : Say it was anaphylactic shock.
Choice 2 : Say it was a heart attack.
After thinking about it for a moment, we tell the nurse that he got unconscious because of an anaphylactic shock caused by an allergy, but since we didn't administrate the patient proper medicine he died of a heart failure.
Choice 1 : Arriving at the hospital.
After thinking about it for a moment, we tell the nurse that the patient got unconscious, because of a heart attack. Since me and my partner did the proper procedure, the doctors were able to save the patient's life and found out that he had some antecedents of heart problems.
Choice 1 : End of the first day on the job.
After a 12-hour shift, I go back to my home to talk about my day with my girlfriend and I tell her about all of the calls that me and my colleague received throughout the day and then I ask her about her day, while we're waiting for dinner. Couple of hours later, we go to bed to get some well-deserved rest.
Choice 1 : First year as a Paramedic.
After my first year as a Paramedic, I realize that I love this job more than anything and that I wish to do this for the rest of my career. I would then go on to have a very long career as a Paramedic filled with highs and lows.
Choice 1 : Retirement.
After my long and beautiful career as a Paramedic, I decide that it would be the appropriate time to retire and set aside the profession of Paramedic to enjoy the rest of my life peacefully.
