As I get to the end of the 5th grade of high school, I have to start thinking about what I should do next. My mother always wanted me to become a doctor. However, my passion was always about police work.
Choice 1 : Choosing the doctor path.
Choice 2 : Becoming a police officer

I decided I want to do become a police officer. Now that my choice is made, I need to apply for the Police Technologies program at a college in Montreal. Should I apply at John Abbot College or Ahuntsic College?
Choice 1 : Choosing John Abbott College.
Choice 2 : Choosing Ahuntsic College.
As I decided to become a doctor, I realized that my high school grades are not higher enough for the program. I decided to go back to my other choice, which was the police path.
Choice 1 : Before choosing my career.
In my first year of Police Technologies at John Abbott College, I started to feel that the English courses are not really for me. I had a hard time studying for my exams. I preferred French instead of English. I decided to go to Ahuntsic College instead.
Choice 1 : Let's try Ahuntsic College instead.
My three years at Ahuntsic College were amazing. I learned a lot about Law enforcement and I really enjoyed Law courses. I started to believe that I want to become a lawyer instead of a police officer.
Choice 1 : Pursuing my career as police officer.
Choice 2 : Becoming a lawyer.
As I finished my Police Technologies program, I applied for the ENPQ, which is the National Police School of Quebec. Everything went well, and I finished my entire Police program with success. As a fresh graduate, I need to make a choice. Should I go to the Montreal Police (SPVM), or I rather choose Laval Police?
Choice 1 : Choosing Montreal Police.
Choice 2 : Choosing Laval Police.
As I finished my Police Technologies program, I went to the University to become a lawyer. However, the process of becoming one is so long that I lost interest. After a good reflection, I chose to go back to the Police dream.
Choice 1 : Going back to the Police dream.
Deciding to be a part of the Montreal Police crew was the best choice I could have made. They offer an amazing retirement program. After 25 years of service, if a police officer decides to retire, he receives 75% of his annual revenue as retirement pension. If a police officer serves 30 or more years of service, he receives 100% of his annual revenue as retirement pension. Also, throughout my career, I was given a chance to join a special squad in the Montreal Police. It was the Drug enforcement crew, which is similar to the DEA Marshalls in the United States.
Choice 1 : I decide to stay in the patrolling section my entire career.
Choice 2 : I joined the Drug enforcement crew in the Montreal Police.
Joining the Laval Police was a good idea. They offer an interesting retirement program, which includes that after 30 years of service, you get 100% of your annual salary as retirement pension. However, throughout my time in the Laval Police, I realized I need some more action in the Police field. Montreal Police was really the place to be if I wanted action.
Choice 1 : Going to Montreal Police.
Patrolling the city was great! I learned so much about the city and about myself. The police officer career is one of the most interesting and diverse career a human can experience. As Forest Gump once said in his movie, "life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get". This quote describes perfectly a day in a police uniform because no cop knows what calls he might receive each and every day. After 30 years in the Police, I decided to retire and live the rest of my life as a retired cop.
Choice 1 : The rest of my life as a retired cop.
I decided to join the Drug enforcement crew in the Montreal Police. Throughout my career, my crew and I busted over hundred of drug dealers and drug cartels in the city. A city as big as Montreal has a lot of consumers and a lot of gang clans related to drugs. It is really dangerous when we look deep into it. After my 30 years of service, I decided it was time to retire. It was time to leave the Montreal Police organisation and focus on my life as a retired cop.
Choice 1 : The rest of my life as a retired cop.
After my retirement, the Ahuntsic College administration sent me an E-mail because they were looking for a professor to teach a specific course in the Police Technologies program. Since I was a retired cop and I didn't have much to do in my personal time, I applied for that job. I saw this as an opportunity to spread my knowledge that I acquired throughout the years as a police officers. The End.
Choice 1 : The End. Back to the other option.
