Your career choice.
You are at the point in your life when you have to choose your career. You know that you want to do something related to the laws but you have two options and you really do not know what you should do. You either stop school and become a security agent because you want to make money right now or you pursue your dream of becoming a police officer.

Internship.
Everything is going well for you right now. You just started your third year and you have to decide where you want to go for your first internship. You have assimilated all the theory but now you have to apply it and see some actions. Although all of this is volunteering and you know you won’t have a wage for now, you are very excited about this new experience. This experience with the Montreal police was insane and you only have one more step to go before graduating which is to pass you final exams. You have now completed all of your three years of police technology and you have your diploma in hand. Finishing those three years is your biggest fulfillment and you are extremely proud of yourself for accomplishing this step. However, those years were extremely demanding both physically and mentally and you do not know if you want to go to Nicolet right now. You hesitate between going to Nicolet, the National Police School of Quebec right now in order to achieve you goal as quickly as possible or taking a sabbatical year to recover. No matter what, you know that you have a foot in the door and you will be able to achieve your goal.

Nicolet was one of the greatest experiences in your life. More often than not, you were exhausted after the day but now that you have finish, you feel like you can accomplish anything. You have learned so many things and met so many great people that you can not say anything wrong about that experience. Now that you have your diploma, it is time for you to make some job application. To put the chances by your side, you apply pretty much everywhere because you want to be sure to have a job. After a week, you receive two calls for a job interview. You know that you’re ready but you are a little bit nervous. Finally, you were so good that both police service offers you a job and want you to work for them. The choice was so hard to take because you wanted to work for both of them but you finally made your choice.

You are a police officer for the city of Montreal. You are so proud of yourself and you feel like you can conquer the world. This job means the world to you and you will stay there as long as you are able to work. You even met the girl of your life, the one you will marry in a few years when everything will be stable. After five years of patrolling, you want to try something else because you do not have the same drive of work, the one you had when you started this adventure. Two options open to you but you really don’t know what to choose because they are opposite, but they interest you as much.

You have two others options to consider if you want to be happy. The first one is related but very different at the same time because the correctional officer is like a police officer in prison but doesn’t have to do all the work that police officer do. The second one is a complete domain change.

You have made your final career choice and you love your job more than anything. You do not have time for anything else because you are always working. You are so good in your job that you earned a premium wage after your first two years. The first two months of your sabbatical year were extremely relaxing because you have been staying home to be able to recover. Sadly, you have been arrested by a police officer for possession for the purpose of trafficking and you’ve spent a big part of your life in jail.
