The first step.

It's my graduation year and I have to make my career choice. I am very happy to quit my secondary school, but I am very stressful to make the bad choice and to lose my motivation to go to school. I am hesitant to go in Sciences at Lionel, to study medicine, witch is at 12 minutes of my home of go in Police technology at Ahuntsic College, where I will have a lot of traffic every day but I think it could interest me more.

This program is very difficult for me. I do not know if I am able to see myself in medicine all my life and also, if I am able to finish the program. I don't know what to do, continue on the easy way in Science or cancel this program and study in something that I like...

I think that I make he right choice for me and for the rest of my life. I am really in love with the police profession and I hope that I will like it. I know that this program contains a lot of courses and that it's difficult one. But I now that I am a strong person and that I will be okay to do this the way I want it to be. All along my years at Ahuntsic College, my grades were very good. It's time to apply to ENPQ, where I will complete my training courses to become a police officer and execute the test drive. But I have to choose between go to ENPQ or to go in university to improve my knowledge in this part of the job.

I am very proud of my performances at this school. I really liked the vibe between all students and even the teacher. I think that a lot of those people will be a big part of my life, and I will maybe work with them one time. We never know in the police what could happen. I have just finish this school that I have to apply for the job I want. I don't know were to apply. Do I apply everywhere, where I have more possibilities to work soon or only to the places that interest me most?

Study to university in mental health.

Study in mental health is something very helpful for areas of police, but I will have to go to ENPQ anyway. It'a good background to have this and I won't have to go back at school in five years if I want to upgrade my job in my police station. After my years at university, I will go to ENPQ.

Take a sabbatical.

During my sabbatical, I travel a lot and I realize that I really wanted to be a police officer. When I see all the police officers in each country, I understood that I wanted to do this. So, I made the choice that when I come back, I will do my Police technology.

I applied everywhere. The HR of the Service de police de la ville de Laval, called me to pass an interview, and the Service de police de la ville de Mirabel, call me first. At Mirabel, I am already engaged because of the job I did for them all summers that I was in Police technology. What should I do? Stay at Mirabel and stay temporary 5 years or go to Laval and live my dream career?

Work for the Service de police de la ville de Laval have always been my dream. I did my interview, and I am sure it when off great ! They also did my background check and everything was clean. They hired me. I have to leave my other job quickly. I have to choose if I want to be in a duet with a boy or a girl. I always prefer to work with boys, it's simpler and in this type of job, it could be useful to work with men when you are a girl. Will I work with officer Monette (men) or with officer Girard (women)?

Stay in Mirabel, I already have a job.

I stayed a couple of months at Mirabel, but I don't like it. We do so much overtime, I can't even take care of my job, I pass too much time at work. I need to change, after all the time I worked here, I am in a vacant position. So, I reapplied in Laval, and they want to pass me in interview. This time, I will not miss my chance!

To the long of always working together, there was a lot of flirtation, and we started a relationship, but then we can no longer work together. So, I decided to set aside patrol and to apply to work to sexual crimes and sexual harassment that I've been interested since the beginning. It will also allow me to continue working when we decide to start our little family instead of taking a long leave of absence.
