My tough life.

First step towards the unknown.

I was raised in a middle class family. We had a small house, one car and a dog. We lived a humble life and had a lot of financial troubles going up. I always felt different from my other classmates and friends. So, when I finished high school, I had a couple of choices that could determine my future, and I was lost at what to do.

Choice 1 : Go work for my shady uncle

Choice 2 : Go to university and take up a large amount of debt

Learning about my uncle.

I've known my uncle my whole life but, I was never able to figure out what he did for a paycheck. So, when I asked him for a job, he was more than happy to offer me a position. Turns out, he owns and operates a mattress store. On the first day, I got on-the-job training and started working full time after a week. The store was always empty and had no customers what so ever. So, a week later, my uncle came up to me and asked if I could deliver an "order" to a client.

Choice 1 : Get curious and ask questions about the delivery.

Choice 2 : Deliver the 'order' no questions asked.

Going to univeristy.

My whole life I've heard that going to university and getting a degree was the best solution to have a great life. But the problem is that nowadays, getting a university degree can cost up to 70 000$ per year. So when I decided to go to university and pursue a business degree, I had to come up with a solution to help pay for my degree.

Choice 1 : Go to the bank and apply for a student loan

Choice 2 : Go work for my uncle to finance my education

The bank.

So, I finally decided to go and apply for a student loan to pursue my degree. I looked up some banks online and went to the closest bank and started the application there. After two weeks of waiting, I finally get a call saying that my loan was accepted but the interest rate was very high because I didn't have anyone with a high income to co-sign the loan.

Choice 1 : Sign the loan and go to University.

Choice 2 : Refuse the offer and go work for the uncle.

Asking Questions about the delivery.

My whole life I've been skeptical about everything. So, naturally, when my uncle told me about the order and that I needed to deliver it, I started asking questions left and right. I reminded my uncle of my skeptical nature and that I didn't want to undermine him but, he tried to shut me down and told me that when the delivery is over I'll be getting a 'premium wage'

Choice 1 : Make the delivery since I needed the money.

Choice 2 : Refuse to make the delivery without clear answers.

The delivery.

The whole operation seemed sketchy and skeptical but, I went through with the delivery just because I needed the money. A couple of weeks pass by and I don't hear a word about the delivery until two cops come knocking at my door at 7 in the morning telling me that my uncle has been arrested and asking me if I knew what he'd been doing.

Choice 1 : Cooperate with the cops and tell them about the perpetrator

Choice 2 : Lie to the cops.
