I am currently studying Social Science at Cegep de Thetford. I am unsure of what program I should study in university. I have been searching for a program for months and I have finally and I have found two programs that I find interesting enough to study, but I really don't know which one to choose. I only have two weeks left to decide. The pressure is killing me because applying for a program isn't a test drive, you have to commit to it. Which program should I choose?
Choice 1 : Studying Journalism.
Choice 2 : Studying Special Care Counseling.

After consulting my friends and family, I have finally come to the conclusion that I should study Journalism. My dad has told me that careers related to this program are usually very well-paid and that I won't have any trouble finding a job because journalism is a growing industry that won't disappear anytime soon. I think this field would suit me well and my writing skills would come in handy. Now that I have made my choice to pursue a career as a journalist, I need to find university that offers this program. The two universities I have found are Laval University and Montreal University. Which one should I choose?
Choice 1 : Study Journalism at Laval University.
Choice 2 : Study Journalism at UQAM University.
My choice is made, I am going to study Special Care Counseling. I was a little hesitant at first because I didn't think I had the necessary skills to pursue a career in this field, but I have come to the realization that this is the best path for me to follow. I have realized that journalism wasn't that interesting anyway and jobs in social working would bring me a lot of fulfillment because helping people has always given me a good feeling. Now that my choice is made, there is only one big decision left to be made : at which university am I going to study at?
Choice 1 : Study Special Care Counseling at UQAM University.
Choice 2 : Study Special Care Counseling at UQAM University.
I have decided to study Journalism at Laval University because it is much closer to where I live than the other universities. I've heard nothing but good comments about the campus and the teachers, so I am pretty sure I will feel right at home while studying there. The only drawback is that I heard that the dorm rooms aren't always clean so it will be hard to get used to that kind of environment. However, they are much cheaper than renting an appartment. I have to make a decision.
Choice 1 : Rent a dorm.
Choice 2 : Renting an apartment.
I have made the decision to to study Special Care Counseling at Laval University. It is apparently a very busy field of study so i'll have to learn the ins-and-out of time managment. I have spotted a very cute girl in the other journalism class and I would like to know her better. I am considering switching class to be with her but I don't know if that's a good decision or not.
Choice 1 : Stay in the same class.
Choice 2 : Go after the cute girl.
I am going to study Special Care Counseling at UQAM University. The only places available for me to live are two appartments in Montreal. One is in a fancy part of town and is pretty expensive and the other is in a bad part of the city and the rent is cheap. I have to weigh the pros and cons and make a decision.
Choice 1 : Rent cheap apartment.
Choice 2 : Rent expensive apartment.
I have finally chosen to study Special Care Counseling at UQAM University. I made that decision because most of my friends are going to study there and I heard that Montreal is a fun place to live. I now have to choose if I try to find a part time job or if I just borrow some money from the bank to buy my food because my parents have decided they wouldn't pay for my food if I decided to go to Montreal. They think it's too far from where I live and that it is a waste of money.
Choice 1 : Finding a part-time job.
Choice 2 : Ask parents for money.
I have decided to rent a dorm room at Laval University. I am happy to have made this decision because the people who live there are very nice and I didn't have any trouble making new friends. My journalism teachers are nice and are really helpful. Things are going exactly as I planned and I should be graduating soon. I am now on my way to my final exam and a girl has been hit by a car right in front of me. My teacher has warned us that he wouldn't let us in if we are late to the exam so, I am pretty hesitant if I should help her or not.
Choice 1 : Helping the girl.
Choice 2 : Going to the exam anyway.
I have decided to rent an apartment. Finding a roommate was pretty hard because I don't know anyone in Quebec City but I managed to find a guy named Greg who was also looking for a place to live. At first, we got along pretty well, but now he refuses to pay rent, so I am broke. I had to kick him out and I now have to work at Walmart to pay rent for the both of us until I find someone to replace him. I have to work so much that I barely have time to study and I am failing most if my journalism classes. I think I have no choice but to drop out and find a job so I can pay the rent.
Choice 1 : Drop out and find a job.
I have decided to stay in the same class and I don't regret my decision. I have managed to complete my studies in Journalism and I found a job at La Presse. After learning office politics and how things work around the office, I have finally found what true happiness is. I love my job, my colleagues are kind, and I finally have my own house. Life is great!

I made the decision to change class to get to know the cute girl I was going after and it was the worst decision I've ever made. We dated for five years until I found out she was cheating on me with one of my best friends and it tore me apart. I've been trying to get it together for months but I've finally snapped. I just can't live without her and I have no choice but to end it all. Goodbye to all my offriends and family, I love you.
Choice 1 : Beggining.
I have decided to help the girl. I believe that helping someone who is in danger is far more important than going to an exam. I tried to help her but all I could do was to call an ambulance. She died a couple hours after the accident, and I was left devastated. I could eat for days and I have developed PTSD. My teacher wouldn't let me do the exam even after explaining to him what had happened, so I told him to go fuck himself which got me expelled. I now earn minimum wage working as a cashier in a drug store. I don't regret my decision because I don't think I would have been able to live knowing that I didn't do everything I could do to help her.
Choice 1 : Beggining.
I have decided to go to the exam anyway and it was a huge mistake. I couldn't concentrate during the test because I kept thinking about what had happened to the poor girl and I failed. Why did I decide to go to the exam instead of helping her? It was such a stupid decision. I learned a day later that she died and it left me devastated. I've been living at my parents house for six months and I don't think I have enough courage to move out and find a job. I don't think I will ever get over this decision.

I had no choice but to drop our and find a job. I was so in debt that was about to go bankrupt, so that was my only option. I had to let go of my dream of becoming a journalist only because I was too stupid to find a roommate that would actually pay the rent. After looking for a job for weeks, I finally found a place that would hire me. The job interview was horrible. I didn't know what to answer to most of the questions the manager asked me but, surprisingly, they hired me. I had to learn the ropes of selling by working in an electronics store and I have been there for two years. I have cleared most of my debt, and I am now trying to find a house to buy for my family and I. Who knows what my life could have been if I had passed my exams and became a journalist. I would have completely been different but I am satisfied with the life I have and that's all that matters.
Choice 1 : Beginning.
I have decided to find a part-time job to pay for my food because it seemed like the right thing to do. I have been hired at Super C and have been working there for a couple of weeks. The job doesn't pay much but it's enough for me to buy some food and survive. The only downside is that I don't have much time to study. My boss offered me a job as a manager that pays very well, and I am not sure if I should drop out and accept the job or if I should stick to the job I already have and keep studying to become a journalist. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to keep studying to become a journalist because working in a supermarket is a dead-end-job.
Choice 1 : Getting my diploma.

I asked my parents if I could borrow some money, even if they told me many times that they would not support me financially if I went to UQAM University. After trying to convince them for hours, I managed to make them give me a loan of $5000. I now have enough money to survive throughout my university years and get my diploma.
Choice 1 : Getting my diploma.
I decided to focus on studying instead of working and worrying about money. I am very grateful that my parents were kind enough to give me money so that I can buy food and books. I now have my diploma and work as a special care counselor in Chicoutimi and I'm very happy to be where I am in life right now.
Choice 1 : Beginning.
I decided to rent the cheap apartment because I didn't want to work overtime at my job because it can overwhelm a lot of people. The apartment isn't in the best part of town, nor is it the best looking, but it works for me. It's close enough to the university for me to walk to class instead of using my car, so I'll save alot of money on parking. It's perfect for a student and it will get the job done until I get my diploma.
Choice 1 : Getting my diploma.
I've decided to go for the expensive apartment because I think I deserve it. It isn't that more expensive than the other apartment and it will make me feel right at home. The furniture is nicer, the rooms are bigger and the location is much better than the other one because it is close to all the places I like to go to, including my university. It's the pefect place for me to work and study. I can't wait to get my diploma!
Choice 1 : Getting my diploma.
After years of studying and working hard, I've finally got my diploma. It was one of the most exciting days of my entire life. I now work in Ontario and live with my wife and kids in a house near Toronto. I learned a lot during my internships where I went to learn how to be a special care counselor, but I still have a lot to learn. I am currently doing an on-the-job-training at the rehabilitation center where I was hired last month. I love this job so much because I feel like it gives me a purpose in life and I plan on doing it until my retirement. Life is great!
