College choices.
You've finished high school, you've been admitted into the program of your dreams; police technology at the Ahuntsic College. You spend 3 years at this college, you've learned the basics of the job of a police officer, learned the tactics, how to defend yourself, how to analyze a crime scene, and a lot of things to be fully prepared to be a cop. You know that you have to go to Quebec's national police school, but you met some people in a job fair, and be a customs officer (border officer) for Canada border services agency (CBSA). The job seems very interesting. What do you do?

You find out that the CBSA college was in the city of Rigaud, QC, and you leaned that the program is very intensive and pretty far from your home and family. Also, you finally may not like the job.

You've made a decision. You applied to enter Quebec's national police school. You've gone through the process, psychometric test, obstacle course, strength tests, simulations, etc. After that, you've stayed there for a fifteen weeks long program to be able to work as a police officer in the province of Quebec. That includes Law classes, body-to-body combats, emergency driving, firearm training, how to act in court, you got pepper sprayed and tazed and you lost few hours of sleep. Now, You're ready to work in the field, starting with an in-the-field training with an FTO (field training officer). You send your CV to some police departments, but two of them want to hire you. Which one you choose?
