My first job.
I just graduated from Nicolet last week. Now, I have to decide where I want to work as a police officer.
Choice 1 : I apply for the Montreal Police Service (SPVM).

I decided to apply for the Montreal Police Service (SPVM) and I got the job. Now, it has been 5 years since I patrol in Montreal. I want some changes in my career, so I decided to apply for the Homicide Investigation Department. It requires a good sense of observation, perseverance and organization.
Choice 1 : I did not get the job because I did not have enough seniority.
Choice 2 : I got the job because I met all of their criteria.
5 years later in Laval.
Finally, I decided to apply for the Laval Police Service because there are better work conditions. It has been 5 years since I patrol there. The murder rate has never been higher in Laval, so I decided to apply for the sergeant's job to take fewer risks.

Failure.
I did not get the job, so I stayed as a police officer. After reflexion, it is better this way because there is a lot of harassment towards new investigators. Those with more seniority believe they are better than new ones and do not want to be downgraded. After a few months, I decide to study part-time at the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières to become a member of the Forensic Science Department.
