Choice 2 : Go to McGill because they have the best reputation in the world.

The Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence (PISE).

During your Bachelor of Human Kinetics at UBC, you work as an intern at the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence (PISE). As you analyse the biomechanic from a powerlifting athlete, during a squat, suddenly, all the back of the athlete's pants is torn! What are you doing?

Choice 1 : Stay professional and give a towel to the athlete.

Choice 2 : You laughed and make jokes about it.

Developing skills.

Because you avoid a shocking scandal, the athlete thank you for your professionalism and informs you about a vacant position as a biomechanist for his Olympic team. If you decide to join the team, you will need to put aside your study until next summer. Will you accept?

The Olympic Team.

You are so excited about your new job, but you still think if you made the right choice. They give you an OJT for your first week and that helps you to familiarize with everybody and developing your skills. You're improving and your team is about to reach their goal. At the end of the summer, your team wins the gold medal at the Olympics and you are very proud of the achievement of goal.

Getting your degree.

Overwhelmed by your studies, you try not to get distracted by the temptation to go to the job market. Instead, you decide to focus all of your efforts on getting your degree. After graduation, you are so proud of your achievement, but when you meet employers for a job, you show the evidence of a lack of experience in your field. You will face couple years of dead-end job before your leg work starts to pay-off.

Mandatory Internship.

Your misconduct leads you to lose your internship at the PISE. You have to find another internship because it is mandatory for your program.

Choice 1 : You go at a local gym.

Choice 2 : You go at the UBC track and field club.

Coaching in a gym.

You start your internship as a personal coach in a local gym. You help the head coach developing strength programs for the average people. After several weeks, you start to find that the task is not cursory enough for improving your skills in your field. You are discouraged and you miss your friends and family from Montreal. You decide to give up and come back to Montreal.

Coaching middle distance athletes.

The head coach help you to learn the ropes of coaching. You develop a very beautiful relationship within the track team of the university. When you graduate, you decide to keep working with them as the official coach.

McGill University.

After a couple months, doing you Bachelor in Kinesiology at McGill, the conception of the program deters you to pursue your study at McGill because they are more focus on the body anatomy instead of learning by problems the adaptation through exercise. You talk about that with your student advisor, and she organized your transfer to the University of British Columbia.
