During your Bachelor of Human Kinetics at UBC, you work as an intern at the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence (PISE). As you analyse the biomechanic from a powerlifting athlete, during a squat, suddenly, all the back of the athlete's pants is torn! What are you doing?

Getting your degree.

Overwhelmed by your studies, you try not to get distracted by the temptation to go to the job market. Instead, you decide to focus all of your efforts on getting your degree. After graduation, you are so proud of your achievement, but when you meet employers for a job, you show the evidence of a lack of experience in your field. You will face couple years of dead-end job before your leg work starts to pay-off.

The head coach help you to learn the ropes of coaching. You develop a very beautiful relationship within the track team of the university. When you graduate, you decide to keep working with them as the official coach.
