A choice.

Since I wanted to be a police officer, I worked hard in school in order to get good grades. I've just finished high school at Beaurivage. I must make a choice. Should I join the Canadian Mounted Police, the SQ or the military police? I could even choose to change my ideas and work.

Choice 4 : Military police.

Since I want to join the Quebec Police, I need a good physical shape. Should I train before applying or try without training?

Choice 2 : Training.

My mistake.

I did well for a couple of laps. After 1 km, I now feel tired. After 2 km, I can't run anymore. The others are doing well while I'm feeling really sick. I should have trained. Should I train for next year or should I find another job?

I look at the offers online. There's a lot of jobs available. Although, 4 of them attract me the most. Should I become a security guy, a barman, a military or a programmer?

I decide to try next year. I find a good program online to get in shape. I like it. I get really good at running. I feel ready for the test. I pass the test. I was the first one to complete. I'm really proud of myself.

Training.

I decide to pay a coach. He shows me tips on training. I have now become really good at running. I feel like I'm ready for the tests. I passed the test. I'm so happy and proud! I become a good police officer.

I pass all the tests to become part of the Canadian Mounted Police. Everything is good. I must go to Regina in order to complete the rookie training. Should I go now and complete the training in English or should I wait for a bilingual group?

The bilingual has a group list of people waiting for a turn. The average waiting time is 1 year. Should I do it in complete English or should I change job?

They give me a plane ticket and I am sent to Regina. I complete the rookie training without any problems I now have to choose where I want to do my field training?

Choice 2 : In a city.

Northern Parts.

I choose to work in the north. There's not a lot of action, but I work in a small town of 2000 people. I get to fish and hunt during my days out. Since I do a good job, the sergeant asks me to stay for a permanent post. I accept and now become a happy man.

In a city.

I'm now in the city of Vancouver. There's a lot of action, bunch of drugs around. I see often dead bodies and get to arrest gang members. I like it cause there's a lot of action, but I feel like I won't stay here permanently. After 2 years I decide to change of place. Should I go into the northern parts or in another country? I could even try to join a special unit.

I get to work in Columbia. When a colleague from Canada calls me for information about drugs, I start looking around for information. I apply for this post permanently and gets it.

I get to choose for a special unit. They are recruiting in the anti-terrorist unit, and in the higher crime investigation unit.

Choice 2 : Crime investigation unit.

I join the anti-terrorist unit. I get to work on a lot of fun anti-terrorist stuff. Now, I like my job and I live an happy life.

I get to join the crime investigation unit. I help to solve numerous murder cases. I'm now happy with my job.

Military police.

I choose to join the military police. First of all, I need to complete the rookie training for every military. Should I do it without physical training before?

Choice 2 : Do not train.

Security.

I choose to work in security. When I see cops in their police car, I feel like i should have chose police officer. I now feel sad and I will be sad for the rest of my life. I wish I was a police officer. I could have done way more.

Barman.

I decide to work as a barman. I do make a lot of money and I love this job. I'm pretty happy even if I did not try to become a police officer.

Programmer.

I decide that I want to become a programmer. I start to learn code languages and I feel like I'm not very good at it.

Choice 1 : Continue

Choice 2 : Become a police officer instead.

Fail.

Since I was not very good in programming, it did not motivate me. I kept on becoming worse than ever. The abandoned date was already passed so I had to continue even if I knew I would not make it. A couple weeks after, the session was over. I had only passed one of the 5 class I had. What a great waste of time it was. I have now stopped the school and went to work full time at Macdonald's.
