Yeah good choice, in this branch you will learn the real things about mining and play with the heavy machinery like on the picture. You will also make more money than any other branch. I can see that you are a tough person. Working in an under ground mine is not easy at all. For your safety, you will stay in Quebec. Canada has the safest mine around the world. The requirements in terms of security are very high compare to any other country. Now that you are in the mine you can choose to work hard or to do the job but not more than what you are asked.

You wanted to work in an open pit mine. Congrats, you are now in Fermont. One day, you see in the mine an advertisement to be in a mining rescue team. But to be in a miner rescue team, you will need to change to an underground mine.

Well-done! You are now in the team. Mining rescue team is very important in a mine. You have to do important things such as saving lives. After a long training, you are now officially able to make rescue. Years go on and on and you like to do this job. Your team wins a lot of competitions during those years. One day a fire occurred on fourth floor. The team did his best and evacuated almost all the miners. Except one. You recognized this guy because he joins the mine at the same time as you. He was a good guy, he was doing the job but not more than what he was asked. Life continued and you kept doing this job because you liked it.

Congrats, you are now a foreman in a big mine. You make a lot of money but the most important, you make a job you like. Life goes on and on. Each day at the same time, you have to do a mine tour to see if everything goes well. But today you feel something strange while eating your favorite candy, Life Savers. You feel something strong keeping you at your desks. You can go to make the mine tour right now or you can wait for a few minutes and go to a bit later.

Today the foreman asks you to go work on the fourth floor. He want you to extract mineral on this floor.

Wow! A strong fire alarm goes on and it starts smelling mercaptan. Because you work in a mine you know that mercaptan is a gas that is released in the mine airing when workers have to evacuate. By chance, you did not make the mine tour at the time and you are in your office. You are the foreman in charge of this now. The mining rescue team is ready to go in the mine. You have the information that there is a fire on the fourth floor. The evacuation protocol is launched and miner are coming out of the mine slowly. The rescue team succeeded to evacuate people who where stuck on fourth floor. Unfortunately one person died today. It was a guy that join the mine at the same time as you. He was a good guy, he was doing the job but not more than what he was asked. After a couple of months everything came back to normal you continued your life.

Mining Engineer.

You worked hard at university and finish all your class's and get a diploma. You are now a mining engineer. You will make more money than someone who just made their DEC (Diplôme d'étude collégiale). But it also took 4 years to accomplish. Now that you are done you can choose between working in an underground mine or and open pit mine.

First Floor.

First floor is way cooler than fourth one. It start smelling mercaptan. You rapidly escaped from the mine. Later the same day once the incident as been cleared. The rescue team informs the workers what happen. '' A fire occurred on fourth floor eight-teen workers have been rescued. Unfortunately one did die.''
