A New World Is Open to You.

You finished the school yesterday, and you received 2 calls from different companies to start to work. The first one wants you to be a mining technician in the underground mine LaRonde to work at 2,9 kilometers under the ground. The second one needs you to be part of an exploration team in northern Quebec. You can only choose one job!

Choice 1 : Become a mining technician.

Once in the mine, the geological engineer tell you that you need to found the driller to tell him the location that he needs to continue drilling to keep a good grade of gold. It's the first time you go down in the mine and you don't know the way to found the driller. You demand to another technician, and he tells you a complicated path that you do not understand perfectly. Arrived at the elevator you don't completely remember the way and you hesitate between the level 18 on the right or level 19 on the left.

You are part of the exploration team.

You are going to the Nunavik to try found a new deposit with a team of two geologists, a guide and another technician. You have to choose which geologist you want to work. The first one is new to the field and need you to help him, but he will adapt to your speed. The second one is an old grumpy geologist, but he knows what he's doing.

Choice 1 : Go with the new geologist.

Choice 2 : Go with the old grumpy geologist.

You make an igloo.

You learned this technique from your grandfather, an igloo, in less than five minutes. You stay here all night with the hope that rescue will arrive. You eat your last soft bar and you fall asleep. The next morning, it is sunny and you hear your name in the distance, you are saved. The job will restart in a few days but for the moment you rest.

The Level 18.

Arrived at level 18 you turn on the right. You walk 200 meters before you see the driller you had to talk. Along the way you notice that he has a little gold nugget and you hesitate to keeping it for yourself and give this to the engineer. You talk to the driller and tell him what to do and you come back to the geologist engineer.

Choice 1 : You give the gold nugget to the engineer.

The Level 19.

Arrived at the level 19 you walk a few steps to the left and the elevator close the doors. An alarm sounds loud, it's noon and you understand that they make explosions. The elevator is no longer responding and you know that it already the end because you can breathe anymore due to the gases created by the explosion.

You give the gold nugget to the engineer.

Arrived in front of the engineer, you talk to him about the driller and give him the gold nugget. He smiled to you and tell you that you have passed the test while shaking your hand.

You keep for yourself the gold nugget.

Arrived in front of the engineer, you talk to him about the driller but you do not mention the gold nugget. He told you if anything happened and you told him that everything it's good. Shortly thereafter, the engineer received a call. After his call he tells you with disappointment that you no longer work for the company because the gold nugget was a test.

The helicopter having dropped you off in the middle of nowhere, you start the crossing with the young geologist and the guide. You are in the last kilometer of the run and you need a brake. The two other continues to walk. Five minutes later, the wind begins to be cool and you start join the others. From one second to the next, a huge blizzard blinds you to more than a meter. You try to move forward, but after a few moments, you realize that you are lost. You don't know what to do and you hesitate to stay on the spot and create an igloo or advance in this winter storm.

The helicopter dropped you, the old geologist and the guide in the field. You are going to start the crossing of 10 kilometers and the geologist told you that the guide need to be supported because he broke up with his girlfriend. During the beginning of the journey, each you have tried to talk with the guide, the geologist was indignant and looked at you with a furious look while asking you to move faster. You're not sure what to do between confront the geologist or stay in silence.

At the end of this exhausting day, you are back in the village and you are alone with the old geologist around a campfire. He speaks to you with a soft voice and tells you how hard he was with you. The reason he gives is quit simple, is that you have to work with a lot of different people and you need to adapt to the situation like today. He is happy that you not reacted and gave you his respect.

At the middle of the crossing you are tired of the geologist's attitude and you get very angry. You start screaming at him and telling him he was going to regret it. You start to kick everything that is on your way. The only old grumpy man's reaction is that he starts crying like a big baby. You don't know how to react to this and you stay silent for the rest of the crossing. Once in the village, he fired you.

You advance into the winter storm.

You are exhausted, you have traveled several kilometers. You find a cave to shelter you. A moment later, you manage to make a fire. It's a practical thing that your grandfather taught you. You hear strange sound at the bottom of the cellar, but you fall asleep. You wake up with a start and a polar bear looks at you, he is one meter away from you. You try to run away but he jumps on you. You are dead.
