I have just finished grade eleven, and I want to become a physiotherapist. However, I am hesitating between applying to the Pure and Applied Sciences at Cegep Montmorency or in the Physiotherapy Technology program at Cegep Montmorenncy. Should I complete my cegep in two years in a pre-university program, or in three years in the technical program?

Even if I get accepted and finish the program, I can't start working yet in my field because I'd still have to go to university to get a bachelor's and a master's in physiotherapy before becoming a physiotherapist. I'm now wondering whether I should continue my studies in my filed at Université Laval or at McGill University, which is my preferred choice.

Unfortunately, McGill University is a competitive program, and the required average was higher than my R-score. I was not accepted into this university.I am now sad and unsure whether to continue my studies at the University of Montreal or University Laval.

I have been accepted into the Physiotherapy Technology program, and I was really interested in exploring this technical path. However, I am now wondering whether I should enter the workforce as a physiotherapy assistant in a medical clinic, since this program does not lead to becoming a licensed physiotherapist. Alternatively, I could continue my studies as planned, in order to become a physiotherapist at McGill University.

After several years of study, I can finally say that I am a physiotherapist. I am not yet sure whether I would want to work in a private clinic or start building my own clinic, as I have always dreamed about.

I am currently working in a private clinic, and I truly enjoy this work environment. I am relieved not to have the many responsibilities that come with managing a clinic, especially after seeing how stressful it can be for my boss. I feel that I made the right decision by choosing to work in the private sector, where I am well-paid.

OUPS! Building my own clinic right away might not have been the best choices. It is so much harder than expected to start and manage my own business immediately. I should first gain experience in the private sector, and perhaps, after several years, I will eventually open my own clinic.

After several years of study, I can finally say that I am a physiotherapist! I am still unsure whether I would prefer to work in a public healthcare system with older person or especially with kids. Should I spend my career working in the public sector or at CHU Sainte-Justine with the kids?

Should I pursue a career working with older adults in a medical clinic open to everyone, or should I work in a specialized children's hospital, such as CHU Sainte-Justine, since I really enjoy working with children?

I have now been working in a general medical clinic for five years. I truly enjoy my job, and I believe that I made the right decision because I still get the chance to work with children occasionally!

I truly enjoy my job at this specialized pediatric hospital. I have a good salary, and I am happy to be there every day, helping children and watching them grow stronger over time.
