My name is Megane, and I am currently completing my English, French and Philosophy classes at a college in Sherbrooke. The job I want to get the most is in interior design. Interior design is not a Technology choice here in Sherbrooke, so, I must decide if I am ready to move out and study away from home or not.
Choice 1 : Stay in Sherbrooke.
Choice 2 : Move to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu to study interior design.

Choice 2 : Find a new program to explore.
I have decided to move to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu to complete an Interior Design Technology, and it was awesome; I kept having straight A's in my exams! Choice 2 : Go to UdeM (University of Montreal).
I am currently a trainee waitress in a popular restaurant in Sherbrooke. My wage is around $25 an hour including tip, which is fine but not what I aim for. Also, I do not like this job at all because I always get sucked up in drama, and I feel like one of my male co-workers is sometimes making threats to me. This is so maddening, I should go back to school.
Choice 1 : Move to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu to study interior design.
Honestly, I do not enjoy living with my parents, but it helps me to set aside some money. More often than not, I am debating whether to move out to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu in order to study interior design or to try to study in Business Management here in Sherbrooke.

I started working for a company that specializes in kitchen design and even though I was OJT, I started thinking that I was not ready to work yet. While I saw that other designers were so invaluable in this business, I began thinking I was a complete dead-end. I tried to come in handy but failed most of the time. Even if I had a foot in the door for a possible exciting position, I decided it was better for me to quit and pursue my education.
Choice 1 : Go to UdeM (University of Montreal).
I always knew I wanted to do long and hard studies. I've been dreaming of a great education sine my young age. However, I am debating if I prefer doing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design or a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design.

Managing a business has always interested me, I even got a diploma in web marketing before entering college. So, Business Management Technologies made me feel like I had a purpose. I learnt so much in this program, from colors, molding, construction drawings, many types of appliances, textures, lighting, design styles such as Scandinavian, modern, minimalist, and much more! For an exam, I had the chance to create my own backsplash wall with hardwood and concrete.
Choice 1 : Start as an interior designer in a well-known company.
Choice 2 : Start my own design business to be able to travel.
Even if interior design and environmental design are similar, the courses in the environmental design degree were not really my cup of tea. I hated urban design classes because they were mostly about street and park regulations. I think I might be regretting that I picked this program, should I switch to interior design?
Choice 1 : Get a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design.
Even if they gave me an in-depth training, I felt like I was not informed enough about the company's regulations. I do not feel fulfilled; it's like I am missing something. Maybe, I should try going to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and do what I always dreamed about. I'd also leave a vacant position for new students to learn in this exceptional marketing firm.

University is not for me; I am struggling way too much. I even tried to bribe one of my teachers, but he completely dismissed my offer. I need to take a break from school because I'm officially going to face a burnout.

I've always wanted to create my own company, and, I've also always wanted to travel. Combining the two would make me so happy and fulfilled. I wonder where I'd prefer staying, of course I want to live in a country with a nice temperature, but where exactly?

I've been hired many times to design coastal homes, restaurants, hotels and even bars next to the beach. I've been doing everything I have always wanted, and people are satisfied with my work! In Bali, I was hoping to make my own place and slowly get known by designing some boho style houses and institutions. Things did not go as I planned, there are a lot of designers here in Indonesia, and it's hard to stand out. I also get sick very often due to the food I'm consuming, maybe I should have chosen Greece.
