THE END OF SECONDARY.
I finished secondary school, I had my diploma, and it was the time to decide for my future if I wanted to go into college or to take a break with a sabbatical year.
Choice 1 : GO TO COLLEGE.

I decide to enter into College to have access in a variety of options for my future career. I knew my capacities and my time management could be developed while I am in this education. Now I had to choose between the social science's program or the social worker's program.

SABBATICAL YEAR.
I decided to take a sabbatical year to put aside education and school and be thoughtful about my future. I need to take time for myself and change from school life. The possible options to be productive during this year were to take the moment to work and set aside or to take that like a real opportunity to travel and discovering the world.

This program offered me many fields and interesting subjects. I got sucked up in the horrible feeling of be overwhelmed by the difficulty of the courses and assignments. After successfully completing my diploma, I had to decide whether to continue at university of finally take my sabbatical year.

SOCIAL WORKER.
By choosing this program, I did multiple internships who give me a foot in the door to a career in the field. I learned the ropes on the job training to be a future social worker. Afterwards, I had to choose between start a real job with the diploma of this technique or continue to university in the social worker's program to be higher.

WORKING.
I start a temporary job to have wages and learn the ins-and-outs of a basic job to prepare myself to a job with drawback like social worker. After some time, when the sabbatical year is over, I am seeing if I am ready to go back to school or take another sabbatical year to travel and to spend now the money I had decided to save for travel anyway one day.

TRAVELING.
I decided to choose my favorite destination and have an invaluable experience. I don't have any regrets and this is what I needed to find myself and be happier. I spend almost 6 months to travel in several country in Asia, and it was the time to decide if I wanted to return to Canada to find a new purpose by continuing studies or stay abroad, settle in a country like in South Korea and start a new life and an internship in something.

Choice 2 : STAY ABROAD.
UNIVERSITY.
I started university in the social worker's program, and I loved it. It gives me the chance to succeed thoroughly in the learning ang get straight A's. Finally, after finishing school, I began my career as a social worker.

START MY CAREER.
I found a job to be a social worker and I more often than not earned premium-wage because it was a really good career to come in handy in the society. I set aside enough money to travel later and I did not have to go to university.

I did not take another break after this year, I completed college and university to become a social worker, and I found my way to be satisfied with my life.

I decided to leave everything behind me and just going on a trip with the money I've made without worrying about anything else, especially school. That would be for later and at that moment, I needed time for myself.

I was ready to start my life over with my studies, so I decided to go back.

So, I started a new life in South Korea, and I am really proud of what I accomplished. I also find a new job, and it's perfect to me.

I decided to take this year off just to have a moment at doing nothing, don't prepare new projects and just take time to breathe, live and experience life through activities that interest me.
