My Last Semester in Environmental and Wildlife Management.

Hi! Yesterday I started my last semester of CEGEP, I can already smell the finish line! But before I finish, I have to pass my program exam and to do 300 hours of internship. This exam covers all of the different subjects seen during my three years of program. So now, I have to start studying for this big exam, and I will need all of my time to study for it. But my boss just asks me to do more hours, and I just registered for a marathon. I will have to choose between my tasks and my hobbies.

Choice 1 : Tell my boss that I can't have more hours.

Choice 2 : Put aside the marathon.

Choice 3 : Accept more hours at work and continue to train for my marathon.

Choice 4 : Decrease my hours at work and postpone my marathon for the next year.

Tell my Boss that I Can't Have More Hours.

I decide to ask my boss for fewer hours, and she got receptive and decrease my hours, it allows me more time to focus on my final exam. Unfortunately, I do not have enough time to study between my training for my marathon. Even if I am usually good at the time management, it is impossible to make it work.

Choice 1 : Go back and choose a better option!

Put Aside the Marathon.

I decide to decrease the number of hours of training, so it allows me more time to study, but my job is taking too much time in my schedule, each hour is precious.

Accept More Hours at Work and Continue to Train for my Marathon.

I decide to do not change anything in my schedule, but after one week of trying to study, it was clear that I would not be able to study enough to pass my exam.

Choice 1 : Oops! it was not the right path to follow. Go back and choose another option.

Decrease my Hours at Work and Postpone my Marathon for the Next Year.

I decide to postpone my marathon and decrease my time at work, I feel more release. Now, I can study more and get a great score at my final exam. What should I do to be more efficient?

Choice 1 : Study with friends.

Study With Friends.

I choose to ask my friends to help me, and they accept. With her help, I already have learned, and understand, many subjects, they were asking questions, and I was answering. In only two days, I have learned what was the meaning of bunodont, lophodont, selenodont and secodont, and which type of eutherians have those features. After two weeks, I can distinguish ectotherm animals of endotherm animals. I am also able to put definition on all of these words : denitrification, ecology, ecosystem, habitat, hydrology, nitrification, and pedology. My exam is tomorrow afternoon, what should I do to be at my best for the exam?

Study Alone.

I decide study by myself, at the beginning this technique worked, but now it's been one week, and I am not able to focus and tell the definition of even a simple words like gregarious, cecotrophy or urohidrosis. The final exam is coming really fast, so I decide to ask my friend for help.

Continue to Study All Night.

I decide to study all night, but it made more tired and stress. So, I took a nap before my exam to have more energy. I pass my exam, and it was thoroughly, I didn't remember what syrinx, taxonomy and zygodactyle meant, but luckily I did not fail my exam. So now, must get ready for my internship, I have not decided yet where I want to go.

Go to Sleep Early.

I choose to go to sleep early, and in the morning I was not tired at all, I was relaxed and ready to take my exam. I did my exam, and I got a straight A's. Now, I must get ready for my internship, I have not decided yet where I want to go.

I decide to do my internship in British-Columbia. So now, I have to pay rent to my brother and his girlfriend because they host me in British-Columbia. He made me visit his job, which is also the place that I will do my internship. As an intern, I have to learn the ropes of the job, and I am on the job training. At the beginning, I thought that I came in handy, but when I arrived, I realized that I was not just there to come in handy, I was a part of the team. This internship help me to test-drive the job and to put a foot in the door of my future career. Now that I have finish all my 10 weeks of internship, what should I do?

Choice 2 : Go back in Quebec.

An Internship in Quebec.

I choose to stay in Quebec to do my internship. I do not have to spend money for an apartment or food because I live with my parents. Now, I must choose between doing an internship with birds or with mammals.

Choice 2 : Internship with mammals at the Granby Zoo.

Stay in British-Columbia a Bit Longer.

I decide to stay in British-Columbia, but I miss too much, my family, my boyfriend and of course my dog.

Choice 1 : Never mind... I want to go back at my home.

I decide to come back at my house in Quebec, I need to choose what I am going to do next, I hesitate between going to three different universities : Sherbrooke, Quebec or Rimouski. Which one should I choose?

Choice 1 : Try the University of Sherbrooke.

Choice 2 : Try the Unversity of Quebec.

Choice 3 : Try the University of Rimouski.

Internship in Quebec With Birds at the Lake Boivin Nature Interpretation Center.

I decide to do my internship in Quebec with birds. I like to work with birds, but I do not like other workers, there is office politics and people are doing undermine. I do not want to get suck up in so more often than not, I stay away from the drama. Now that I have finish all my 300 hours of internship, I have to choose between going to three different universities : Sherbrooke, Quebec or Rimouski. Which one should I choose?

Choice 2 : Try the Unversity of Quebec.

Internship With Mammals at the Granby Zoo.

I decide to do an internship with mammals at Granby Zoo. This path really confirmed me that I like more mammals than other groups. My partner shows me the ins and out of the job and as his trainee, I learn a lot from him. Now that I have finished all my 10 weeks of internship and that I want to get specialized at the university, I most choose between three different universities : Sherbrooke, Quebec or Rimouski.

Choice 1 : Try the University of Sherbrooke.

Choice 2 : Try the Unversity of Quebec.

Choice 3 : Try the University of Rimouski.

I decide to put all of my energy to be accepted at the Unversity of Sherbrooke. The city of Sherbrooke is close to my parent's houses, so I can see them over the weekend. Unfortunately, the program that I wanted is limited, and I got refuse. I have to change rapidly, which university should I try?

Choice 1 : Try the Unversity of Quebec.

Choice 2 : Try the University of Rimouski.

I decide to try to go to the University of Quebec, and I got accepted! Even if the city is far from my hometown, I am excited to go there because my boyfriend, one of my friends and I decided to rent an apartment together, so I will not be alone. After four beautiful years of studying and getting aside some money, I graduated. To celebrate it, my friend and I decide to volunteer abroad in another country. Which country should we choose?

Choice 1 : Go to Australia.

Choice 2 : Go to Florida.

Choice 3 : Go to Antarctica.

Try the University of Rimouski.

I choose to try the University of Rimouski and I got accepted! This city is far away from my hometown, but my boyfriend decided to come and work at the police station in Rimouski. I finished all of my four years of university and my boyfriend and I decided to stay in Rimouski to build our family and our house. I got a great job with marine mammals.

We decide to go to Australia to volunteer abroad, but we didn't think about spiders, snakes and other scary things. My friend and I have a terror of those animals. What were we thinking!!! No way that we stay there more time!

Go to Florida.

We decide to go to Florida, and to help marine animals. Helping marine animals provide us as sense of fulfillment. We spent three months in Florida, and then we came back to Quebec to start our adult life.

Go to Antarctica.

We decide to go to Antarctica, and help bears, penguins and other animals. But unfortunately for me, I did not realize that It would be that cold outside. I HATE cold temperature, and I can't support them! So after only one week, we came back.

Choice 1 : Go back and PLEASE pick an option where the temperature is higher than zero!!!!
