My choice of career.

My college years are coming to an end. Throughout the year, I had a lot of questions about what I should do after graduating. I was perplexed because having a health business was very appealing to me but my big dream since I was a child was to continue dancing. Should I choose to be a dance teacher or start my wellness business?

Choice 1 : Choose the wellness business.

Choice 2 : Choose dancing.

Choose the wellness business.

I chose to start my Arbonne business! I entered the business, and now I make money with it. I get paid premium wage depending on how many things I sell. It is very fun to be able to change people's lives, and everything is going so smoothly. For the first week, I was considered a trainee on-the-job-training. We had free training online but suddenly, my Wi-Fi crashed during my first big presentation.

Choose dancing.

I had always dreamed of becoming a dance teacher because dancing made me feel confident and alive. It's a good way of expressing my emotions how I feel without talking. My goal is to inspire other people and prepare them for competitions while helping them believe in themselves, I created my dance studio and started teaching young dancers every afternoon. At first, I felt nervous Because the students were energetic and difficult to control. It was also hard to know which category fits the best for the best dancer. But I prepared choreography and organized rehearsals every day. One afternoon, a student named lily landed badly after a jump and injured her knee. The class became silent, and everyone looked worried. I had to react quickly.

Choice 1 : Continue the rehearsal while lily takes a break.

Choice 2 : Stop the rehearsal and help the student.

Test the connection and try to reconnect.

The connection is still not working. I tried multiples times to join the meeting, but I can't get in since my Wi-Fi is off. I missed the call and couldn't participate or learn important things.I don't know anybody on the call, so I can't ask them for the notes they took during the meeting. Now I look unprofessional.

Use your mobile data.

I switched to my mobile data, and the call loaded instantly. I rejoined as quickly as I could, apologized for the interruption, and caught up on what I missed. Even though the Wi-Fi issue threw everything off for a moment, I made sure I didn't fall behind and stayed focus for the rest of the meeting. Soon after, my dad heard me talking about this new business and told me to stop working for Arbonne. He thought I was getting scammed and kept discouraging me.

Choice 1 : Give up and stop working.

Choice 2 : Don't listen and continue working.

I stopped the rehearsal and helped lily. I placed ice on her knee and called her parents. The other students understood and respected my decision. Seeing me care about their safety made them more confident with me A week later, the dance show finally arrived. The students wore costumes, practiced backstage and tried not to stress. Suddenly, the music system stopped working minutes before the performance.

Give up and stop working.

Even though it was my dream to become successful and independent, I slowly lost confidence in myself. I felt disappointed because I gave up on something I truly cared about. It taught me that following a dream can be difficult when people around you do not support you. It also showed me the importance of believing in myself, and making decisions based on my own goals instead of fear or pressure from others.

Don't listen and continue working.

I decided to keep working on my business even if my family doubted me. More often than not, I learned new skills like communication, marketing, and leadership. However, balancing my business, school, and my personal life became very stressful. I sometimes felt exhausted from trying to do everything at once and got sucked up in too many things.

I decided to focus more on school because the stress became overwhelming. I felt sad about putting my business aside, but I knew education was important for my future. Stay calm and fix the problem.

I stayed calm and call the technicians for help. While they pull off their work, I motivated my students and practiced breathing exercises with them, so they wouldn't panic.
