My career.

Hi, my name is Louka, and I am sixteen years old. I am currently in my last year of high school. Next year, I still don't know if I want to go to college, or take a year off. What should I do?

I chose to go to college. Now, I got a problem. I know I want to go to college, but I still don't know what program to choose. I hesitate between Graphic Design and becoming a Firefighter. If I become a graphic designer, I could create posters, logos, do typography, layout, branding, vector, color theory, digital work, print work and more. If I become a firefighter, I could save lives, use the ramp, fix engines, drive the truck, rescue animals, water the fire and more.What should I do?

I chose to take a year off. I just graduated from high school, and I am free! I wanted to travel, but there's a problem. I am not sure if I should travel first and work for the rest of the year of work first? What should I do?

The program I chose is Graphic Design. I found a college where I can study. However, it is two hours away from my home. There is another college closer, but I would have to travel forty-five minutes every morning and another forty-five minutes to come back home. Should I apply to the closest college and drive every day or find a room and apply to the furthest college?

Become a Firefighter.

I chose to apply for the Firefighter program. However, I need my maths of high school year five in order to get accepted in the program. This class is offered as a complementary class. I can also go to adult school to finish it in a few months. Going to to adult school would only take a few months, and it would be easy since it would be the only class I have. Going to college would be harder, but it would be faster. Where should I take my class?

I decided to travel first since I just finished high school. That choice gave me a break. I had to quit my student job since I was leaving for a few months. When I come back from vacations, I need to find a job before going back to school. I could find a job related to what I want to do later, but the salary is lower than a regular student job. Should I find a job related to the program I want to do or should I find a regular student job?

I decided to work first so that I could enjoy travelling after. After my year offs, I need to go back to school. I realized that I could either go to college for three years, or do a DEP for a year and a half. Where should I go?

I chose to apply to the closest college. As a consequence, I have to drive ninety minutes every day to go to school. However, I get through all this, and three years later, I graduate from college. Now, the problem is that I don't know what to do. Should I go to university or enter the job market.

I chose to apply to the furthest college. I got accepted, and I found an apartment. I ended up graduating three years later. Travelling between college and home was not something I loved, so I decided not to go to university to avoid the same situation. I then was able to find a job on the job market.

I chose to go to adult school to get the math class credit I need, Once I get my credit, I can join college. I ended up graduating from college, but I don't know if I am ready to find work yet. Should I take a year off or find a job already?

I decided to find a regular student job to save more money. After my year offs, I went to college, and I graduated after three years. I found a career job I love related to graphic design.

Even though college is two times longer than DEP, I chose to go to college in order to have more doors opened for my future. After these three years, I graduated from college. I eventually found a job as a graphic designer. I was able to find clients, plan meetings, create mock-ups, mood boards and more.

Even though DEP is less suggested than college, I chose to go to DEP to finish school faster. I graduated a year and a half later, and I got accepted for a career job related to graphic design.
